On the good side, it does work -and it works better than the one I was previously using. It fits the bottom of my Treo nicely and does not slip out. Also on the plus side, it is quite inexpensive.
On the bad side, the retractable option does not work very well. The very first time I extended it I found it difficult to get to retract again. You can do it, but it takes a lot of effort and the frustration outweighs the value.
Another negative is that the main body of the charger is a universal piece, with an additional part included which matches it to your model of cell phone. The problem is that this small extra piece comes apart from the rest of the charger very very easily and is easily lost.
Given this, I am much happier with one of the other chargers I got which is non-retractable and does not have the separate piece to it.I've bought this product from Eforcity, shipment was quick and arrived in excellent condition. The product itself serves its purpose well too, it is just what my pda needed.Works fine. Looks a little sturdier then another retractable I had purchased a year ago.
The red LED is very bright :-)
Will see how long the retraction works ..
