this was the second replacement charger I purchased for the Cardo-Scala Rider. The first was a generic charger that stopped working in a couple of months. I use this often charging my Scala 3 transmitter while on the motorcycle. It's been rained on a few times with no problems, however It isn't listed as waterproof. The cable is well made, but could be a little longer to reach your helmet from the power-port to allow charging while riding. A common 12v extension takes care of that issue. Cardo makes good stuff.
