My new Galaxy S3 did not come with a car charger. This particular charger works just fine and the price was right.

For a $3 car charger, you can't have the highest expectations in the world, but it gets the job done. I've used it with my Galaxy S3 and a Blackberry.

PROS:

-Inexpensive

-Retractable cord works, doesn't snag

-The cord is very thin which allows it to fit in very tight spaces

Cons:

-I wish the cord was a foot or two longer

-It retracts by pulling on the cord and releasing, which can cause accidental retractions. I've seen others with a release button, which seems to work better.

-Slow to charge

If I had to pay a lot more for this, it probably wouldn't be a 4 star rating, but for the price, why not?
