Now the not so good, the coiled cord puts tension on my phone and if I take a turn a little fast this charger helps pull the phone out of the cup holder and it lands on the floor. After a few incidents of this, the charger is now detected by my phone as some sort of dock. Normal cords have started to malfunction from drops and it simply makes annoying "unplug/Plugin" sound back and forth while the connection is loose. This charger does that and one ups the other cords by opening a dock sort of screen with the time and a few links. This causes constant programs like maps, ingress and navigation to close unexpectedly. While driving at night, the screen will randomly light up all the time without me moving it because the loose connection keeps triggering the "dock" screen. I don't seem to be able to disable the action this device is causing, so I have quit using it. Not sure why my phone detects it as a "dock" but it is no longer usable to me, lasted less than a year. Will replace with a two part dual socket 2.1 ma charger with separate USB cable so I can always change the cable for cheap since I know it will drop the phone in the car eventually.Arrived quickly; works just fine when I need my phone charged. It charges faster in the car than using my home charger.
