I use this to loosen lug nuts as well as other nuts on a compact car, such as the engine mount nuts. Pretty convenient. You can semi-control the rotation speed by the pressure on the trigger. That's a plus for me as I also use this to loosen and tighten other nuts that don't require 130 lb.ft torque. The extra battery is nice, but for me, I've yet to drain the first battery after couple weeks of light use.

Iv had this impact for about four months I work at a diesel shop and work on over the road trucks.the dewalt is half the price as a snap on and has alittle less breakaway torque.use tool every day beating on bolts with the impact to break loose and has no broke yet. Highly recommend this tool for auto mechanics.battery last me about 2 to 2.5 days depending on work load.
