I just wanted to say that this item is wonderful....I recently purchased the HTC Tilt 2 and ordered this product to use as a charger but it much more than that...i carry it from room to room with me so I dont have to hold my phone in my hand while i talk...i just put the phone on speakerphone and talk away knowing the phone is safe because its in the cradle...another great thing is that when im in bed the phone is in the cradle next to me on the night stand so now when anyone calls i dont have to pick up the phone to see who it is because the phone is already sitting upright in the cradle so all i have to do is push the button and talk!! I love it!!
The mini-USB cable port on the back of the cradle unit will not accept the HTC synch cable, which has a different shape from a normal mini-USB cable. Attempting to connect my AT&T HTC Tilt 2 device via the cradle using a regular USB to mini-USB cable (that does fit the mini-USB cable port on the back of the cradle) results in a failed connection. It's still useful for safely holding the HTC device, and for charging, but it would be nice to also have the synching function as well.

I was looking for a cradle for my new AT&T Tilt 2. Most of the units were way over priced, until I found the Fosmon. I don't use a spare battery so I wasn't looking for a unit that would charge one. I wanted a simple unit that would charge the phone and let me sync to the PC. The Fosmon does just that, it comes with a charger in case your PC is off and doesn't supply power to the USB port (that's most of the older PC's). The newer PC's have an option to power the USB port when off so you can charge a device. If that is case then you will not need the charger. It works just like the one I had for my Fuze (different brand). The only negative is the LED is very bright, so if you want to put this in the bedroom your going to have a nice bright blue night light. I have it in my den, but prefer not to see it, so I covered the LED with a small piece of Electrical tape (I use a hole punch and it makes a nice small round patch to put over the LED). So far the unit is working great and is not a problem to drop the phone in the cradle and on to the USB post. Just in case you don't know for some dumb reason HTC decided not to make all the Touch Pro 2 phones the same this time. The USB port for the AT&T, Europe-Asia models is directly in the middle on the bottom. The T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon version have the USB port off set so there are different cradles for those units. There was no reason HTC couldn't have moved the headphone jack and put the USB port in the middle on all the models so there would be only one cradle for home or car. (Bad HTC, don't let the phone companies change the design for things like that.)
