I feel as though I have been scammed. I told them that I was traveling on the highway at about 70mphs when one of the heads for the speakers fell off. This was truly a busted deal. This experience was a loss to me in every way. I personally would not recommend purchasing from this vendor. I gave Deal Busters opportunities to correct this problem, but as of today, I have not heard from them. In this economy, I suffered a valuable loss.
I hope this helped.
DriceSince zero star is not an option, I am forced to give this product a highly inflated one star rating. As my civic duty I must inform the public that the PLMCA60 amplifier is not only useless, but also a dangerous fire hazard that runs the risk of burning your house down, maiming your children and killing your dog while a Pyle representative personally dances on your ashes. The first electron passing through the unit melted the fuse (not included) that I installed in a fit of uncharacteristic foresight. Apprehensive but undaunted I tried again, this time causing sparks to fly and filling my garage with the unmistakable smell of melting plastic while the amplifier was resting on the frame of the bike before I even attached the ground wire. The internal short circuit was confirmed by a volt meter directly attached to the aluminum housing. Pyle wanted me to send it to them at my expense along with a $15 money order to cover the cost of getting one back to me. Needless to say, I mailed back the amplifier along with the documentation in a timely fashion, but without the return fee because if their pile of panda guano was doing what it is supposed to then we wouldn't be having this conversation. If it cost me $4 including the delivery confirmation, what exactly is the other $11 for? I haven't heard from them in three weeks in spite of two reminders. If you still want to own one of these abominations, this is what else you need: an in line fuse; it doesn't have one (inexpensive), a power switch, preferably handlebar mounted (not so cheap), a personal audio device mount (the mysterious piece of shiny metal serves no discernable purpose, not so cheap), speaker clamps for one inch cruiser bars (again not so cheap, the ones supplied have to be mangled to fit, making them unreturnable), asbestos underwear, supplemental insurance etc... (cost unknown). I can't comment on the sound quality of the speakers because in the two months that I owned them I still haven't heard a peep out of them. If you see somebody trying to sell you Pyle anything, run, do not walk away from them, you will never see your money again. Personally I am in the process of throwing good money after bad by buying a replacement amp on sale from a competitor whose three letter initials begins with D and ends in G.My wife and kids purchased this item for my birthday guess what shipping time was unbelievable it got here on time , but when we opened it and started to install it, there came the problem.
-Major problem with these package is instruction, Very bad description of how to do things , no graphic displays for every step.
-When i called in the young women that spoke to me was very rude. Once i got a person to help the guy did not even have the patience to go through the steps of installation one by one.
-Another thing is that the package was missing screws and bolts.
-I even asked him ifhe knew who distributed it in Florida mayb he could talk to them and help me with the ionsallation. The guys answer was " i know that we have people who distribute this in florida but i dont recall no one".
As a recomendation pay a little more get something better and more complete its worth the aggravation
Anyways a complete dissapointment would not recoomed it.
