Travelon 120W Inverter, White, One Size

I plugged this in when I got on the plane. I was sitting next to a United pilot in Business Class from Seattle to Narita. As soon as I connected, their was a burst from inside the unit and a fair amount of smoke. We were buy the door and people were still loading so it didn't set off any alarms, although I'm glad this didn't happen in the air.

I'm checking into warranty now but this was the first I'd used it and I don't want another!

Does the job, but it smells like burning electronics. This is because of the fan it needs to cool down its components. The smell should get less intense after leaving it on for a few hours at a time for a few days.
