Just received this charger yesterday, but so far so good. My big test was running Google Navigation while charging, and it was actually powerful enough to charge the phone while running navigation. Drove for about 15 minutes and the phone went from 24% to 36%. Very happy so far!!
To be short, this one is pretty much exactly the same if not better, and works flawlessly. I used this charger over the weekend on a road trip and it was capable of keeping my Galaxy Nexus fully charged while running Navigation and Sirius XM, during my entire trip. Even my old charger couldn't do that. I am very impressed.

Mine came from "VZW-Outlet Center". It was not a Verizon charger as stated and pictured. Like another reviewer mentioned, this one had a blank face plate that is barely glued on. I bought it because it was cheap. I only needed it for a week. It did it's job and will probably sit in a drawer until I need it again. I used GPS quite a lot and it kept the phone charged nicely.
