Like the previous reviewer pointed out, the actual assembly of the charger appears rather cheap. This is very light weight, thin plastic. Also, the packaging mentions nothing about Blackberry but instead says that this is for a Motorola and/or Samsung phone which I was initially very confused about. Luckily it has a mini USB drive and fits my Blackbery Bold 9780. I have to use quite a bit of force to make the charger fit and stay in place in my cigarette lighter. If I simply place it in there, it will slip out. The one thing I really like about this charger is the red indicator light that lets you know the charger is, in fact, properly hooked up to your cigarette lighter. The plastic coil is also at an agreeable lengthit's not too long but also not too short that when I pick up my phone it falls out. I've used it numerous times so far and it appears to be doing the job fine. I think only time will tell if it holds up to daily wear and tear.
I was not very impressed with the product itself. It looks very cheap like it was produced in someone's backyard and can be bought in a dollar store for less than a buck. Shipping was fast though and it charges my phone, but i'm just more concerned now that it will blow the fuse in my car! Like the previous one I bought (in a store) did and it ended up costing me more $$$ to repair the damage than the charger actually cost!
