Received the item quickly as hoped...It charges the phone but the extra battery slot is too small to fit the battery snugly in place. You have to set battery in at an angle for it to make contact with the contact points for charging to occur. Also there is no indication of whether the battery is fully charged or not, whereas with the phone itself, there is an indicator light that changes from red to green when charging is complete. All in all a pretty decent product but I was a little bit disappointed about the extra battery charging aspect of this device.
I am so pleased with this unit. It is durable, easy to insert and remove the phone and works great. I particularly like having the ability to recharge a second battery in the event I'm suddenly without power. I have since, changed my phone, but I really miss having this unit, it was so handy.

Opened it, plugged it in, works. It's not the most finely made equipment, but if you use it as intended it seems to work as advertised. Can't say as much for Amazon reviews. I went back to give 5 stars and can't change my rating now.
