Rubberized Retractable Car Charger for Apple iPhone 3G (Black)

Do not buy. This product worked for the first couple of days and then ceased to charge my iPhone. On a side note, the only thing "rubberized" about this charger is a sticker on one side of the unit.

Bought this for my husband's iphone 3G...despite saying it would work for a 3G it was too big to connect to the phone, had to send it back.

What do you want for $10 in the non-OEM iPhone market? I have used this off and on for six-months and find it compact in my travel case, already filled with too many wires for my iPhone and laptop. So this never gets tangled and works as it should for occasional use. I would not buy this if you use your iPhone in your car everyday. That calls for heavy duty, OEM equipment. This is great and compact for travel, including airplane power connectors in the cigarette lighter format.

My new charger lasted about 3 weeks and died (although I really only tried to charge the phone 3 or 4 times with the charger). And when it did work, it took hours and hours to put a charge on the iphone. These things are complete pieces of junk. Cheap pieces of junk. Good luck!!!!!
