Regardless of the iPhone 4 being totally obsolete at this day and age, instill wouldn't recommend purchasing this product even if they made one for the iPhone 5. It is big, clumsy looking, and ergonomically terrible. the plastic scratches easily making the screen useless after a couple of uses. the case is big, did I mention that it is clumsy looking... A star goes out to its stability during rides, yes it does hold in place during bumpy and fast rides. Another star goes out out of sympathy. Save the money and get something else.
