This will not charge two products at once. It worked for a while but then would only work when charging a single item. When you attached the second it would creat e an error on the device saying it can't charge
Have used 4 of these for winter stored vehicles, and lawn and garden equipments, and has never failed keeping all of the batteries charged. The first user comment should have reviewed the product before purchase; never indicated it was "solar powered". But can see where confusion could occur. A fine product that serves the purpose.

I am very happy with the seller and the product. This car charger is very well made and charges my iPad, iPhone 4S, and iPods. Yes, it works on iPhone 4S even though it is not listed in the description. The seller confirmed this after I contacted them. And now I am using it as proof. Purchased this charger but when I removed it from the box I was very skeptical about its quality, it seemed too lightweight. Once I hooked the device to a battery I had in an old Mustang that had been sitting around forever and had absolutely no charge in it the device went into its repair mode. Its built in micro-chip recognized that my battery had such a low charge that the plates inside of battery had become sulfated so it automatically switched from my setting of a regular 10 amp charge to its desulfation mode and proceeded to repair my battery. It took close to six hours for the device to repair the battery but once again, with no input from me it changed back to its normal 10 amp charge mode that I had initially selected. I left the charger on overnight and in the morning it was fully charged (A green LED starts to shine), sometime during the night, after the charger recognized the battery was fully charged, it switched again this time to its maintain mode. When the charger charges the battery to its full capacity it shuts itself off but continues to monitor the batteries voltage, if battery voltage starts to slip under 14 volts charger turns back on and sends the battery short pulses of energy to maintain the battery at full capacity, this is its maintain mode. The reason for the short pulses of energy instead of its normal straight charging mode is to prevent the water in the battery from bubbling up and evaporating away which would happen if a normal charger was left charging a battery for more than a couple of days. This feature is fantastic, it makes sure that if somehow a mistake is made and charger is left on for to long that it will never overcharge the battery, in fact by leaving the charger on the battery after it has been fully charged it will actually keep your battery at its peak performance level. This was the easiest and most efficient charger I have ever had or seen. I charged another battery I had that was only discharged about 30% and it charged it to full capacity in less than an hour, amazing.

if you have a Bold (Blackberry 9000) don't get this device, get the Blackberry ASY14396003 cradle instead. There's no reason you need to plug anything into the Bold (i.e. USB cord) to charge it. Also, the device that was delivered to me looks a little different that the photo and my Bold really didn't even fit into it mechanically. With the other device (the Blackberry ASY14396003) you just sit the Bold down in the cradle and it kicks into charge mode automatically... A far, far better design and I think it's only a few more bucks.
This charger works great and at less than 1/4 the price than what I paid for my other one from the phone company. If I would've known that I could have saved myself fifty bucks. This is definitely just as good.
I've had one of these inverters for at least 4 years, and am now buying another. I use it fairly hard, for a mobile power source for construction mainly. My first one is in for repair, as the extremely dusty location it was in finely took its toll. It worked great for power tools, except for my compressor which it wouldn't run properly (it would turn over, but really slowly). It does make a bit of noise on stereo's, as it is not a "true sine" inverter, so I wouldn't get this to run delicate electronics. The tiny on off switch and dip switches would be the main drawbacks to this inverter, in my eyes. Its a good product for its price range. (currently ~$650, it cost me ~$900 4+ years ago...)

I purchased the Tripp Lite APS2448UL as a heavy duty computer battery backup. Shortly after I made all the connections, I heard a small pop and saw a puff of smoke come up from the unit but saw no change in the operation of the unit. Of course I immediately call the Tripp Lite customer service department and told them what happened. The person on the phone was intent on trying to figure out the problem. They had me do a series of tests and when everything checked out ok, he gave me a incident number and told me to call if anything else happened. About 15 days later the unit stopped working and all my batteries were drained. I called back and they promptly send me a new unit. Had me return the old one to them in the box that the new one came in. They sent a pre-paid shipping label. This time, there was no popping sound but the unit again died in a few days and my batteries were drained. After spending a long time on the phone, trying to figure out what was going wrong, we finally discovered that the 2 sets of dip switches read from right to left instead of left to right. In other words, Block A is on the right and Block B is on the left. Also the dip switches themselves read from right to left. Switch 1 is on the far right and switch 4 is on the far left. After charging my batteries up with a separate charger and re-setting my dip switches, everything is working great now. I am convinced that the first unit that I had was ok, just had the switches set backwards. I don't know about the popping and smoke. My complaint is that the instruction manual should have been clear on the reverse order of the switches. I really like the part that you can adjust the sensitivity so the inverter only comes on when the refrigerator wants to start and doesn't have to be on all the time. Really saves on batteries. I bought mine to keep the furnace, refrigerator and freezers working during the power outages and so far it has worked very well for over a year. It is very easy to connect up and has been the best back up power inverter I have had to keep the appliances running. Being modified sine wave though, it doesn't work well on devices with CPU's and such like some phones, clock radios, cable boxes and DVD players so I have a nice small pure sine wave unit for them.
I've used it for 7 months now to charge alternately a 32AHr, 26AHR and 8Ahr deep cycle AGM batteries and it has done a great job. I have a 30 watt monocrystalline solar panel wired directly to it and connect it directly to my batteries using various quick disconnect connectors. I monitor the state of discharge (with a multimeter)and never let my batteries fall below 75% of rated capacity (as recommended by battery manufacturers for best practice and long life of battery.) The Battery Tender as described is a 3 stage charge controller and will put the most voltage out when the battery needs it and cuts back as it approaches full charge down to a trickle level. All the batteries quickly recharge even on partial sun days. Takes 3-6 hours of sun on the biggest battery less on the others. Keeping them topped off is easier (better for it), faster to recharge, and simple to rotate each bettery for its day or shared day of charging.

1 APR 13 updated review-This controller does not work with 6v batteries; I made the same mistake and when I thought it said 5v to 45v (volt) and it is 5w to 45w (watt) as another reviewer stated. The charge light illuminates but it does not charge, it only appeared to. No damage was done to my battery as my solar panel output is max 9v. My search for a 6v controller continues.
Great to have a travel wall charger that I can travel with and keep in my suitcase. Vehicle charger is also used in another vehicle so as not to switch back and forth.
Great panel for the price. I bought it for another brand feeder not knowing it had a plug in connection instead of clip on connections. It had a green and white wire, so I did not know which was positive and negative. I sent the manufacture an email and they responded the same day letting me know the green was positive so I could cut off the connector and put on clips. Great customer service.

This sony ericsson car charger is actually compatible with several other sony ericsson telephones. Car charger works great and is very efficient charging with built in data chip. Transaction went smoothly and I received my charger on time as promised.
For the price I can't really complain, but I got this for my girlfriend and it broke after about 5 days. I would have sent it back but the shipping cost way more that the charger so she just tossed it. Maybe if your careful it'll last.
I bought this charger as an inexpensive alternative to the Motorola brand dock. I was disappointed as soon as I plugged my Droid 3 into it, the phone became erratic and unresponsive when plugged into this dock. I took the charger itself (not the dock) apart and was shocked to find not only a very poorly designed charger, but that one of the capacitors had only one leg soldered in, and the other was floating freely in the case! Worse yet this free floating leg was touching the metal casing of the USB port. Needless to say I am no longer using this charger. However the good news is that you can simply plug in the OEM Motorola charger cord into the dock and it works as it's supposed to. Just don't rely on the cheap charging electronics that come with the dock.
Good quality. I use it to store my Garmin Nuvi 1450 which is a tight fit, but that seems to improve after using it a few times. It has plenty of room to store the power cable with it. Shipping was slow and slight damage on one corner of the case thanks to USPS. The seller should pack it into a box instead of a plastic bag. The inside of the case has good padding to help protect the unit's screen.
Works great. The construction is quality. Thick cord makes it durable, unlike the cheap knock-offs. Great price for the product.
