Helmet looked great felt sound and sturdy overall looked to be great quality, then the problem arose. This is the blinc 136, the pictures are of the blinc 210. The 136 is a standard full face helmet with built in bluetooth. The 210 is a modular full face helmet with a opening face. Also a rule of thumb to everyone, VCAN helmets seem to be one size smaller then the normal sizes. According to the size of my tater at the local bike shop I'm a XL, Well the XL 136 was tighter than dicks headband. I had to return the 136 XL and order the 210 XXL but look forward to getting it :)

This helmet may keep your coconut from being split on the pavement (something I have not tested thankfully), otherwise, not worth the money you save by not buying a better helmet. Quality is TERRIBLE, after 7 months it is literally falling apart. Bluetooth is a cool idea but randomly drops and the helmet to helmet is no good above the speed of stopped. Battery life is no good eitherthe only feature of bluetooth which works somewhat consistently is the iPhone music feature. Battery only supports for about an hour on a full charge. I am returning this one after only 7 months of use and will pay a great deal more for a different brand that will hopefully work more often.

I got this helmet today from Amazon. I should start by saying I always use Amazon, I have never had a problem with the site, and I do not hold Amazon responsible for this product. That being said, the quality of this helmet was not what I was expecting. Here are my complaints: The speakers inside the helmet are very small and sound profoundly terrible with crackles and no bass at all. It is much worse than the speakers built into my Android phone (which is what I was using to connect via bluetooth with the helmet). I tried turning the volume up and down on the helmet and on my phone, but no combination enhanced the quality of the sound. My second problem with the helmet is the size. I own three other helmets, all large. This one I ordered as a large and it is beyond snug. Order a size larger if you risk buying this helmet. My third problem is he volume control. You twist the knob left or right to change the volume and do other various actions through the helmet. The knob sticks and is not smooth at all and is very "finicky". My next complaint is that the visor was all scratched up because they ship the package that contains the charger and battery (which very difficult to install in the helmet by the way) on the inside of the helmet and it scratches up the visor from the inside out. I guess my final complaint is the location of the battery and charging port. One must remove nearly all of the liner from the helmet to initially install the battery and every time it needs to be charged...
Needless to say, I sent the helmet back. The idea of a helmet with the capabilities and features of this one is great, however, this helmet does not portray those features in a way of which allows one to enjoy the capabilities. This may be because it costs a fraction of other helmets because there are $600.00 helmets out there that have these same features but may have bigger and better speakers, better charging location and controls, etc. I was excited to get this helmet in, it came very quickly, and now I am very disappointed.
My opinion, plug your individual ear or "bud style" headphones in and wear a normal helmet. It will costs about half the price of this helmet and you will have a much better sound and more comfortable ride.

This helmet works great with the bluetooth. It linked quickly following the video instructions on the product page. I am a little disappointed that the controls are limited to On/Off, Answer/Hangup, and up/down volume. The power supply is not clearly marked but is located in the rear base of the helmet and you have to lift up some of the fabric to get to it.
It fits snug and I'm glad I chose to get XL when I thought I might need Large.
In the short time I have used it the plastic nose guard has come loose from the glue and I just push it back down. Also in the front where your mouth is it is coated in some kind of rubberized foam on the plastic. It peels really easy and I try not to touch the front. I have a habit of holding the helmet by the face and I scraped off some of it really easy. I try to hold the helmet with either the straps or in the carry bag it came with.
I got this for a really reduced price, couldn't see paying full price for this helmet. I might try to find another just so I can link them for a passenger.
The sound is a little bit on the tin side, but not too distracting. Phone calls at 50 mph seemed to not be difficult to hear on either end. I am not sure if the music sound is stereo. I thought I read something that it was mono, but I have not checked it and at highway speeds was not that important for quality sound.
I think I would prefer a modular helmet with better controls next time. Also the batter seems like it can be replaced, so that is another plus. All in all, I think my price is what gave me the 4th star, otherwise I would probably go 3 stars.

Reading from the other reviewers, I was somewhat leery about purchasing this product. That said, once received and tested, I couldn't ask for a better value on an integrated bluetooth helmet. Although I do have one minor issue, and I'll get to that, I haven't had any of the sound issues or pictoral mis-representation described in some of the other reviews. While reading, keep in mind I'm a fairly hefty guy in a high wind area, & I'm using this product on my daily commute.
Pros:
Bluetooth pairs well with all devices attempted. (Palm Pre, iPod touch latest gen, & Galaxy Tab 10.5)
Volume is loud enough for me to hear music quite well even at 75mph w/ hearing protection.
Call quality is typical of just about any mid-range buletooth headset.
Chin wind-screen (?) is very effective in keeping out the extra wind noise.
Con:
I only have the one. The flat black helmet heats up in the sun, but has less than exceptional airflow with only the two vents. If I were to give feedback to the designer, I'd recommend more or bigger vents.
