Retractable cord is great for in the car. No issues so far. But, wall charger cord is only about 3' long. It barely reaches from the outlet on the baseboard to the top of the back of my desk. I have to hold it there with a heavy object so that the end does not keep slipping behind the desk.
I've used both the wall and car charger for my Galaxy S 4G in the week or so since I received the items. Both charge my phone and retract as described. The cord is a little bit short, which is my only problem. The packaging doesn't specify that this is for a Galaxy S 4G specifically but is instead intended for most modern mobile phones and I've also successfully used it on an HTC Radar.
