Don't use with anything over 200 watt start-up load. This thing will burn up with anything more. That means start-up load. I don't know about run-load: mine burned up with a 600 watt start-up load.

I originally got this to be used with a portable 200 Watt system using 2=100 Watt 12V panels. It is water resistant, but water could get into the unit around the wire entry points.

Here are a few problems I have with it. It starts the charge cycle every day trying to "equalize" my RV batteries (2=6V series Trojan T105RE @12V) the voltage it tries to maintain for about 2 hours regardless of the charge state of my batteries is 14.8V. Then it drops to 14.4-6V for 30min or so. Then it "floats" at 13.8V. The main problem is that the "boost" and/or "equalize" is often too short, or too long. This cycle is "dumb" and only on a timer, but it doesn't seem to care if your batteries need more charge or not, and won't provide more if they do, nor less if they don't. The indicator light on this controller might show a "full charge" but the controller continues to charge too much sometimes, but most often not enough, leaving the batteries under charged and requiring me to use another charger to actually bring them up to full charge, using a hydrometer as a charge indicator to actually determine the charge state.

The float voltage would be too high from this controller for my batteries which should be 13.2V, and the equalize voltage would be too low from this controller, I need 15.2+V and using this controller I noticed 1 cell in my batteries was already developing a drop in voltage after using this controller 2 months or less. (not equalized, but my other charger seemed to remedy this)

I did not use the light timer feature for load control (I was interested mostly in the "waterproof" part), so I can't comment on this feature.

So for intermittent emergency use it might be okay, and it might work okay if you have better math than I do and can perfectly match your panels/batteries/load to only require 2-3 hours of full charge, such as a driveway light system or something... but its not very good for variable loads and uses such as an RV.

I didn't get enough rain to really test the waterproof part, but I did use it outside hooked to the back of my panels which I moved around the yard chasing the sun. The wires on this unit appear close to 10 gauge but may be 12, it is China built, but comes with instructions easy enough to understand in super tiny print I need a magnifying glass to read.

I will be replacing this unit with something else that is "smarter" so I don't have to be. :)

It holds my 29 series size deep cycle battery nicely. The gauge in the lid if just a guess on the batteries status but works ok. I love the strap to hold down the lid. Easy off easy on and easy to cinch it on tight :-)

This product works really well. I can charge my Ipad 3 and Iphone 4s in a small space. It charges both very quickly. It's secure on my side table and does not fall over if I knock it. I am very happy with this product.

Having said that, I didn't expect high security and what this lock is is exactly what I expected. Short of a hasp & padlock I don't think you'll find anything better.

The rubber around the connector is too big and does not properly fit in the phone. It does not charge while plugged in. It says it is charging while you can watch the battery level is dropping.

I've had this charger for over 3 months now and it hasn't broke! Many car chargers always break but with me this one has lasted for quite a while now. I am very careful and don't use it everyday but once in a while I will and it has worked out excellent for me! Made in China so the plastic may look a little fragile but it seems to stand strong. I purchased this item to attach to the zipper on my jacket. When I got it and removed it from the packaging card I found that the back is not enclosed with plastic. It is really a cheap piece of junk.

The cardboard card that shows the temperature and has the wind chill information on the back is exposed. It is only held in place by a little plastic edge of the front plastic piece.

I expected the card to be contained inside with plastic on the front AND the back so it would be waterproof. Instead there is no back. If you attach the item to a jacket or other zipper (on a pack for instance) and wear it out in the rain or snow the cardboard will get wet and be damaged.

I think just wearing it on a zipper with the cardboard exposed and using it as a zipper pull is going to cause damage because the cardboard is only held in place by four little ridges on the edge of the plastic on the front.

I won't know how it holds up because I plan to return it as soon as I can.

This thing works great on backpacks, zippers, anywhere that you would like the temp. and a compass handy. Wish I would have ordered two.

The HTC Amaze uses a Micro USB Ext connection that is backwards compatible with Micro USB. The shortfall is the Micro USB will take much longer to charge the phone and will not charge the battery more than 50% if it falls below 50%. I use the OEM charge at home overnight and a standard Micro USB charger at work and in the car with no real issues...yet. Owned for 3 weeks.

Works a treat. Easy to make phone calls with my iPhone voice dialer. Battery life seems very extended.

I have had some connection issues but cannot pin them on the device. Not sure if it is or isn't the device. Clarity of signal (in my case) depends on the weather, geography, and phase of the moon (joke possibly).

Device appears well made. Nothing flimsy. Comes with multiple mounting options. Auto charger is a removable usb port. By that I mean the standard charging USB macro/mini cord comes out and you can replace it with your iPhone charge cord. Most (like my beloved TomTom XL 340S 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator) are molded into one unit.

My wife says she hears me fine, I can hear her fine as well.

I have NO idea how you could hit your legs with this device unless you installed it on the OUTSIDE of the steering wheel. Fits my F150 like it was made for it.

I bought this device to add hand-off phone technology to my 2006 Highlander Hybrid. I tried the various devices that hang on the ear, but they did not work for me. This device worked right out of the box. The only problem I had was finding a place for it on the steering wheel that did not interfere with my view of the dashboard. World Travel Voltage Converter Adapter Kit 50-1600 Watt

This product ("World Travel Voltage Converter Adapter Kit 50-1600 Watt") is sold under different brand names (such as the "Simran PG3 50-Watt 1600-Watt World Travel Voltage Converter"). Basically, all those 'dual wattage' converters share the same circuit design, and have the same limitations.

At the low ('50W') setting, the converter uses an AC transformer to convert 220V sinusoidal voltage input to 110V sinusoidal voltage output. For low-power electronic appliances (such as battery chargers or portable DVD players) that are rated for 110V AC only, this is the safest way to operate them while traveling to other countries with 220V AC lines. One obvious limitation is that the appliance's power consumption must be under 50 watts (most laptop computer's AC adapters are rated for 90W or higher, by the way). If you connect a higher-power appliance to this converter, the transformer's iron core will become saturated. This results in runaway input current, which may then cause smoke or even fire.

At the high ('1600W') setting, the converter simply uses an electronic switch to 'chop' the 220V sinusoidal input voltage into smaller segments, such that the average power delivered to output load is reduced. This is the same principle used by most incandescent lamp dimmers. It works reasonably well for simple HEATING appliances, such as travel irons or hair dryers. However, if you try to power any electronic appliance that is rated for 110V-only at this setting, the high-voltage stress will likely cause the appliance to break down and burn out within seconds.

This is not to say that this product is completely useless, only that you have to be EXTREMELY careful about what you can plug in at each setting. Unfortunately, some appliances fall into the grey area between 'heating' and 'electronic'. For example, most people will classify a curling iron (hair straightener) as a heating appliance. Yet it contains electronic circuit and its power consumption is higher than 50W, which means neither high nor low settings can be used.

The good news is that most portable electronics (such as chargers for cameras, cell phones, laptops, etc) are already designed to handle universal input voltage. Check the AC adapter of your appliance to make sure. If it says "Input: 100 240V AC", then you don't have to use a voltage converter at all. All you need is a set of adapter plugs (such as the Travel Smart Polarized Adapter Plug 5 Piece Set), which allows you to physically plug into AC outlets in other countries, and you are good to go. In case you already bought this travel converter and adapter kit, then just leave the 'converter' unit at home and bring only the adapter plug set with you. Better safe than sorry.

I thought I was doing myself a favor by saving money and buying a cheap converter, but I was severely mistaken! First of all, the converter itself does not plug in securely to the adapter. Secondly, whatever you plug into the converter does not plug in securely and hangs halfway out! Thirdly, after having the thing for three weeks, it exploded and died. DO NOT BUY. Go somewhere and spend the $20 or $30, so you can return it if you need to!

This battery fits perfectly in my 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan VN800. It arrived in only 2 days! I like the fact that it is completely sealed and I do not have to mess with adding the acid myself. So far this Advanced glass matt battery is everything I expected. This is the 4th battery I have had for my motorcycle in about 7 years. The origiinal Suzuki battery lasted about 3 years. the next 2 batteries cost more than this one and were purchased locally. They required adding acid to activate and did not last more than 1.5 years each. This advanced glass matt battery came fully activated and charged and already seems superior to the last 2. This radio is decent for the price. Gets out to repeaters 15-20 miles away. Reception is decent too. I am pleased with the quality. I do have problems using the software on windows 7 machines, however it works good on xp. Programming is easy with the software. The radio can be manually programmed fairly easily. Not as easy as the software, but not as bad as I read in some reviews. I would buy again. Purchased for backup and portability.

I had purchased this radio as a gift for a friend of mine who was new to amateur radio. She was unfamiliar with handheld radios. The radio is not a true dual band. It can switch between both bands however they must be on the same transmit & receive channels to talk. Programming is rather difficult however the speech does confirm each key as it is pressed I think the software and cable would be a great help for programming faster and more accurately . The manual is very difficult to understand however if you are familiar with other handhelds it can be figured out. That is why I have ordered the software and cable for her to assist in the programming. Overall for the value the radio works well and as claimed, we have been able to hit the local repeaters with no problems. The delivery was extremely fast and the seller has been excellent in helping out with the radio. The radio is a good value for the money and fast service.

The headphones were given to my son to play with as I found them to not stay on worth anything. I bought throat mics and that eliminated that issue. I especially appreciated the radios ability to use two channels at once. One unit was the control set and then it could communicate with two sets of radios on two separate channels. Bosch 24618-01 18-Volt Lithium-Ion 1/2-Inch Square Drive Impact Wrench Kit with 2 Batteries, Charge

I have found the bosch impact wrench has exceeded my expectations, I thought perhaps the HT version would be required to change 4wd wheels but this does it with ease. Driving 4 inch tek screws is also not a problem. It has run well on both the slim and large batteries and is easily adapted between 1/2 drive to 1/4 hex (after market adaptor needed). Pleased I purchased this product.

Debated on buying the "high torque" version of this model, but when with this instead. For my needs, it's awesome. I use this pretty much for just automotive work; not a professional mechanic by a long shot, but just work on my car and friends. I swapped the shocks in my moms car recently, and this saved me I would guess an hour in the process, and it's FUN to use.

I got this one for an absolute steal on Amazon warehouse it was in used/like new condition, so I was hesitant, but it just looked like someone opened the box, and returned it immediately. With 2 batteries, a charger, nice case and the driver, $135 was just too good to pass up.

Pros: I'm a Bosch convert. All their power tools that I now own just fit well in my hand, are well balanced, feel quality, the batteries last forever, and charge quick. In fact, I don't see me looking at any other brand, they're just that well designed (ze germans, no?). If you do the math, this puts out around 135lbs/ft of torque, which is almost double what my Bosch 12v impact driver puts out. It's not heavy, it's not huge, but puts out bolt snapping torque in a small package. Two batteries included are a huge plus, even at the new price this is a great deal. They charge... insanely quick. Maybe I hadn't drained it, but it seemed like 15 minutes until fully charged, which is nuts. LED is a nice touch. Progressive trigger is also somewhat a rarity in the bigger impact drivers; this has it which is nice doesn't try to jump out of your hand. Also has the brake function, so when you let of the trigger, it just stops spinning immediately. Keeps nuts from flying out of sockets, which is a pain. Ergonomics, power, and battery life are the key features, and it's very well priced.

Cons: LED could be brighter; no battery meter.

Conclusion: If you don't work on tractors or things that require massive amounts of torque (i.e. above 130ft/lbs), I don't think there is a better 1/2 driver out there. I have a Dewalt, and now basically hate it (twice as heavy, worse battery, poor ergonomics/balance, same power). Can't say enough about Bosch tools, they are my new go-to brand when looking for anything new.

It's a solid Impact Wrench, does its job very well and consistently so. I use it for the tracking my car and changing wheels often. The wrench is easy to use, has good charge, and is powerful enough to do all the jobs. It's rubberized in all the right places and you can feel the quality manufacturing of this product. I highly recommend it. I just wish it had more optional attachments for the battery so I could use bosch products everywhere.

great impact wrench. more convenient than using air tools for removing lug nuts. love the power/torque & light. only thing lacking is a way to adjust torque to prevent over tightening of lug nuts besides letting off the trigger early. this thing is powerful & will not disappoint. order some impact sockets when you order this wrench if you plan on removing lug nuts. i love this tool & will only buy bosch products from now on. since using this product i've ordered a bosch 3/8" 18 volt drill(batteries are interchangeable) & a bosch oscillating tool & numerous bosch accessories on amazon

I bough this as an alternative to using a compressor (small capacity, always refilling...) and pneumatic impact wrench . So far, I've only done the lug nuts on my wife's BMW 528. No problem zipping them off.

I like the variable speed and trigger ergonomics (as opposed to dewalt, for example), but haven't found a need for the LED work light (I'd prefer to have the option to switch it off). It's really lightweight, too.

For higher torque, I'll get the big Bosch impact, but for wheels, suspension work, etc., I think this will be fine. My only other cordless impact experience was with a snap on 1/2 18v, which was great, but when spending my own money, this little Bosch does the job just fine.

Since Magellan 1700 has very limited battery capacity this device comes in quite handy if you want to move around. However, it seems to be quite overpriced for what it is.
