This is a pretty decent unit especially for the price. The retractor works via a button on the top which I think is a bit small, but still usable and beats the heck out of retractable devices that require you to pull the cord out briefly to retract. The wire itself seems a bit thin for a power cord when compared to household chargers, but I'm sure it really doesn't matter since you would probably retract it when not in use unlike a home charger where the cord probably stays out to be tripped over and stepped on. Overall it's a good product for the money and works flawlessly.

Took two tries to get the right retractable car charger shipped to me but once resolved......it's great! Nice and small and love the retractable cord!

I paid for the new model but received the old model in the new model box. Irregardless, it did not work as well as advertised. I only received and extra 3:30 hours of video power for my 5th gen IPOD. I returned it and bought the Energizer 'Energi To Go' for $20. Tiny plastic holder of 2 AA batteries that fits all Ipods. My IPOD played movies for 8 hours and since you can always carry around a couple of spare batteries, the Energizer can have you watching as long as you need. Much better product for a 3rd of the cost.

This product helped me keep using my ipod for another year after the battery died on it. It also allowed me to plug my ipod into a wall, charge it and the battery and keep it using it. The casing is a little tricky the first couple of times but isn't really a problem after that, and I kind of like the way it fits on the ipod, no danger of falling off of it. I would recommend this product to anyone with an ipod or mp3 player. The only drawback I would put on this product is that you have to take it out of it's case to connect it to a computer, but that's relatively minor.

This car charger is retractable for the first couple day, but after those couple days it just goes bad. It is not a retractable charger anymore. It is also really short in length. This was not a good buy at all.

I really like the compact design of the charger, however it is not practical for charging an HTC incredible. The incredible, with no apps running, no talking, no GPS, nor screen power was using power at an equal rate to the phone. I was able to use this charger for my Jawbone Icon series bluetooth headset, however it only charged the Jawbone about 25% in 4 hours. Not very practical either. I ended up using a power inverter with a normal wall plug successfully with the same car outlet.

This little charger is just perfect! No wires to have to untangle or to take up space. It is just one little plug that fits about anywhere in my car. The only thing that I can find wrong with it is that when you retract it, the cord doesn't go all the way into the housing by itself--you have to help it along when there's like 6 inches of cord sticking out of the reel. But that's really nothing too big or anything.

The charger does charge as advertised but I was a little disappointed with the performance. I have used many LiPo chargers and got the feeling it should be a little quicker. I put my amp meter on the charge line and found that even thought its rated at 1 Amp (the recommended current to charge a stock AR.Drone battery) it was a little shy and sometimes dips quite low at about 700mA during the charging process. In the end it does charge as advertised but not the fastest.

That being said I use one of these and found it charges in under an hour, worth a consideration ... note this charger comes with battery clips so you can open the hood of your car and charge from your car battery on location:

The title says it all. I have purchased the Sears version, the Harbor Freight version, the J.C. Whitney version and several others that presently remain nameless, useless products that purported to do the job. The lock goes on and works, but could easily be defeated by a screwdriver or any stiff key. This will keep honest people honest but would net deter a thief for more than 30 seconds. Having said that, I didn't expect high security and what this lock is is exactly what I expected. Short of a hasp & padlock I don't think you'll find anything better.

Battery said it had F2 terminals, but it has F1 terminals. The whole reason I ordered it was because it said it had F2, but luckily I was able to make it work. Otherwise seems like a decent battery, and good deal. Be aware of the difference in battery terminal sizes though!

UPDATE: I contacted the seller, and they're going to send me 2 new batteries with the correct terminal sizes. Very impressed.

I bought this battery as a replacement for a Verizon FIOS telephone powerfail backup after the original battery died after several years of use. The battery cost about half of the original equipment replacement battery, and works just fine.

After digging around on the 'net for a battery to replace the dead one in my CyberPower 350 UPS, I decided to give this unit a shot. (I may have actually ordered a slightly different model [eg, 7aH instead of 8 or 9]).

The unit arrived quickly, and fit no problem. I charged the UPS for ~8 hrs and then tested it to see how long it would light a 60-watt lamp. The lamp stayed lit for at least 45 minutes (if memory serves), and that's certainly long enough for the UPS to keep my computer devices charged for a typical 5 minute power outage, I figure.

I've got a couple more UPSes with dead batteries and I'll be buying them from Chrome/UB.

I used these to replace the batteries in both of my APC Back-UPS ES-550's. Very inexpensive, compared to the battery that APC sells, more ampacity and the first one, on this computer system, has lasted several years already. The one for this review went into the UPS for the TV/DVR/cable box, just recently, and it works great, as well. When I went to install I found out I would have to replace the battery cables and connectors as well. Batteries sold on the razorama site come with the cable. I have yet to find the cables alone to order.

Purchased for my daughter's purple Razor Pocket Mod Betty electic scooter. My husband had to pick up a few new connectors at our local Lowe's store to hook up the batteries (very cheap). Once installed, working like a charm! Recommend you pull your scooters into a warm location for cold winter areas or at least pull the batteries out and store them in the warm. The battery was almost a perfect replacement to a battery found in the electric moped by Razor. If you're handy, purchase 1/4" Fully Insulated Quick Disconnects. You'll have to clipped the soldered red/black wires from the original batteries and crimp the new connectors so it can attach to the new batteries. It took 5 minutes once I had the connectors. Charged batteries completely and it seems to be a better battery than the orginal Razor battery.

This ipod charger worked fine but the parts seem very delicate. Whenever I have to change the adapter I'm always afraid that I'm going to break something. I would suggest using a higher quality american charger and simply using a foreign adapter.

Love the dual USB ports for charging more than one device at a time. Feels kind of cheap and plasticky. Not sure how it will fare living in a car that has some pretty wide temperature fluctuations (sometimes cheap plastic will become brittle and break), but a few months in, I'm pretty satisfied.

I bought this after changing phone and noticing the car charger I had wasn't good. I've been using this for a few months and here's what I have on it:

Good things:

Great power. I've successfully charged an iPhone, a Galaxy S3, a BB Playbook and a Kindle with this. I can charge any 2 devices at the same time with no problems.

Just the right size. It's not too large to bother having it on all the time and not too small to make it difficult to remove from the car.

Not so good things:

The blue light it has is a little too bright when driving at night. I've fixed this by turning it to an angle where it doesn't bother me or covering it with something.

Bad things:

Nothing really bad with this! :)

This car charger was cheap and it is nice to have a charger while you are on the go. When I am driving it is nice because I can keep it plugged in, but as far as being fully charged when I left it on it for a few hours and just took it off overnight it died. Either this thing is not as universal as proposed or it just doesn't make full contact on one of the ends. It takes for ever to charge up my gps with this item.
