Snap-on 92164 25-LED Rechargeable Angle Work Light

Snap-on 92164 25-LED Rechargeable Angle Work LightI liked the size, weight and design of this light. The quality did seem a little cheap for Snap-On...made in China (what isn't anymore). I didn't like how directional the light was. You have to really aim it as what you want to see. It doesn't light up an area like my other fluorescent light did. I had it for a little more than a year of occasional use before it stopped working. One day it just wouldn't turn on. I tried charging it numerous times to no avail.

I bought one of these lights from Pep Boys, got it home, charged it, and...it didnt work!! I returned it, and the person that handled my return said they have alot of issues with these particular lights. I really liked the design, and how it was so light weight. So i searched on amazon, found this Snap On light and ordered it...i have had it for a week so far, this one held a charge fine. I guess maybe there is a bad batch out there. Anyway, i love this light...so its worth taking the gamble.

This light does not seem to be snap-on quality!! I bought it expecting it to have the lifetime warranty and it only has a one year warranty! Also the light is made in Taiwan not America!!!

Anyone who is familiar with the Snap-on name knows that their hand tools can't be beat. Unfortunately, this light is merely trading off the goodwill that Snap-on has built up and does not offer the performance you might expect from the brand.

As others have noted, the light is highly directional, which is neither here nor there in terms of quality but which DOES reflect on how little light this puts out. Even with all the LEDs putting out light in the same direction, it is still not a bright light.

Also, the battery in this light is really poor. LEDs require a decent power source, so this light works as well as it can for a relatively short period of time before the battery voltage drops and the LEDs become worthlessly dim.

It is well built on the outside, but the insides are pathetic. Weak LEDs driven by a weak battery.

I would not recommend this product at half the price.

This is an example of a moronic decision by some Snap-On suit wearing idiot to make some quick money by selling the rights of the long coveted (and proudly made in the USA) Snap-On name.

They could have at least kept with their BluePoint line.

I'll just be more careful about which tools from Snap-On I purchase.

If you want true made in the USA Snap-On, go to a local distributer not Ace, Amazon or Ebay.

Power Bright VC200W Voltage Transformer 200 Watt Step Up/Down converter 110/120 Volt - 220/240 Volt

Power Bright VC200W Voltage Transformer 200 Watt Step Up/Down converter 110/120 Volt - 220/240 VoltI bought this transformer about a year ago for my German sewing machine (230 V, 85 W, 50 Hz) to run it in the US (110 V, 60 Hz). So far it works like a charm. I've used it for quite a few sewing projects over the past year and was worried whether the 60 Hz/50 Hz difference would be an issue, but everything seems to be running just fine. Investing twenty bucks in a transformer allowed me to keep using my familiar sewing machine instead of buying and learning how to use a new one, so it was well worth it.

Addendum April 2011: After three years of use now, it still works fine and I haven't had to replace any fuses yet. But you have to be aware of the wattage on the appliances you are plugging into it. I just saw some of the reviews with lower ratings on this item saying it doesn't work, starts smoking, fuses blow immediately etc. Please be aware that this transformer is limited to 200 Watts only, and you probably don't want to max that out either to stay on the safe side. Find out how many Watts you are plugging into it before you turn it on and keep in mind 200 is fairly low. If you have larger wattage items you will need to invest your money into a transformer that can handle that.

You can probably safely run the following items using this transformer: clock radio, electric blanket, laptop, a small TV, radio, VCR/DVD, Xbox, PS2, Wii. You may hit the limit and ask for trouble with desktop computers, Hi-Fi equipment, Xbox 360, PS3, LCD or plasma TVs you may want to get a 500W transformer for those. You will almost certainly blow the fuses if you try to run: any sort of kitchen appliance, power tools, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, iron. You need something much more heavy duty for those items.

I bought a couple of these on moving from London to NYC, and they work fine. My one complaint would be that the clearance below the UK plug socket is not huge, so the cord coming out the bottom of the plug has to bend sharply to avoid the surface the transformer rests on. It's not a big issue though, and we've been using them for a couple of months with no problems. Don't throw away the replacement fuses that come with it, though; I've already had to replace one of them.

Buy Power Bright VC200W Voltage Transformer 200 Watt Step Up/Down converter 110/120 Volt - 220/240 Volt Now

Got this to power an old computer from the 90s; it was a UK version so it needed a 220V to function.

The setup is very simple; just keep an eye on the input current, unless you wanna cause problems (there is a selector in the back, it goes from 110 to 220V, so you cover the whole globe).

The unit itself is noiseless; you hear no buzzing at all; if you touch it while on is cold, and has a very minimal buzzing that you can just feel if you put your hand on the top of the unit.

I kept it on, powering the computer (which uses about 100W), for a couple of hours, and had no issues. I saw many negative comments but they were made by people not very tech savvy....you need to know the basics of the power load that you can apply to a transformer, otherwise you will just overload it and burn it.

This will be enough to power anything that is below 150W and 10A; don't use it with higher power consumption items or you will overload it.

The cons are the weight; which is out of this world, if you are planning to travel and put it in your bag, and the very short power cable. Also keep in mind that the 220V plug in the front is very flimsy; so use care when you plug something in or unplug it.

Read Best Reviews of Power Bright VC200W Voltage Transformer 200 Watt Step Up/Down converter 110/120 Volt - 220/240 Volt Here

After reading reviews on bad experiences with the transformers, I decided to buy this 200W transformer even though my sewing machine takes up 100W theoretically. (Do P (Watts)=I (max current of your device) *V (your device voltage 110V/220V... ))

It's been nearly two months now and it has worked fine for me. So I'm quite pleased with it.

Latest update (12 March 2013): Recently I found out that the speed of my sewing machine increased quite a bit. I'm not sure if this is related to the transformer. It makes the sewing machine shake quite a bit even if I pressed the pedal very gently.

This is a surprisingly good product. I have a very good GPS in my car, integrated with OnStar. I bought the Magellan so that I could plug it into a rental car after flying to Florida. I also bought the adapter so that I could program in the places I wanted to visit before I left home in Canada.

The Magellan was quite good almost as good as the one in my car, which cost about 30 times more. It is very easy to program and it is easy to read and hear in strange surroundings. Most of Florida is pretty simple to navigate on one's own but Miami is a nightmare for all but the cognoscenti. There, the Magellan was dead-accurate. I would have been lost without it. It saved my bacon several times.

My only quibble would be the geeky voice with a Spanish accent, but I guess that's the state of the art. Also, be careful programming the right options. If you "minimize freeways," Magellan can take you on a horrendous detour to save a two buck toll. Once I made this mistake once and realized the error, there was no problem.

I purchased the Magellan OEM power AC adapter in August 2011 but didn't open the package until February 2012. The cord was enclosed but not the part that plugs in to the outlet. Bare-Tool Milwaukee 2663-20 18-Volt M18 1/2-Inch High Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring (Tool

Bare-Tool Milwaukee 2663-20 18-Volt M18 1/2-Inch High Torque Impact Wrench with Friction RingJust got this baby the other day. Bare tool since I already have the M18 compact impact, sawzall, circular saw, 2 compact drill/drivers, flashlight, and grinder. This tool has some serious power. Pulled the front wheels off my bosses Super Duty Yesterday. Impact barely tried and lugs came right off. I very impressed. My boss was like try doing that without smiling. I could not stop smiling. Once again Milwaukee WOWs me. Thanks for making my life easier.

I bought this impact wrench after considering air powered and electric wrenches. Air involved the purchase of a compressor and all of the other stuff you need to properly operate air tools. The electrics were certainly priced right, but were big, heavy and required a heavy gauge extension cord to use any distance from their power source.

Happy days for me when I came across this impact from Milwaukee. I love my other 18 volt lithium ion powered Milwaukee tools and decided to give this impact a try. As usual, Milwaukee came through with a compact and powerful tool that has great ergonomics in your hand and does what it says it will. The bonus of not being tethered by an air hose or electrical cord is just icing on the cake.

This impact was purchased to remove the nut that holds the drive sprocket on my motorcycle. Torque values for this nut are 95 ft. lbs.. The Milwaukee impact spun the nut loose in about 2 seconds. The adjustable trigger pressure on this impact also made it possible for me to pre torque with the impact and follow up with a torque wrench to reinstall the sprocket nut.

You can tell by now that I am very pleased with the Milwaukee impact wrench 2663-20. I highly recommend this impact wrench.

Buy Bare-Tool Milwaukee 2663-20 18-Volt M18 1/2-Inch High Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring (Tool Now

I feel like this impact could tear anything apart. Lug nuts, even way overtorqued, are spun off instantly. I haven't really found a tough enough fastener yet to put the torque capacity to the test.

It's longer than an air impact and heavier. But not too heavy, and maneuverable enough. Before I got my 3/8" m12 impact, I gladly used this to spin off 10mm bolts. It's pleasurable and quick.

I used this for two days working on my car last weekend and the XC battery is still showing the full 4 bars of charge. I really don't understand why anyone would use an air impact for most automotive work. I feel sorry for the guys at tire shops toting hoses around. What a waste.

The compact m18 would probably be enough for most work, including tire changes. I got this because I didn't ever wanna come up against a fastener I couldn't break loose (I've had my share of frustrations with cheap air tools). Once I saw how well this worked, I decided I wanted something light and maneuverable for small fasteners, and got the m12 with xc battery (apparently m12 with standard battery is too weak). The m12 can break loose bolts torqued to 65ftlb (my tests), and this m18 takes care of everything else. I'm a happy man!

If you ever want to try out an impact wrench to determine whether it has the guts to get it done or not try taking out a crankshaft bolt. These suckers are notoriously tight and almost no electric impact wrenches can handle them and only the best air impact wrenches less than 3/4" drive can handle them. THIS WRENCH CAN HANDLE THEM. Took off my crankshaft bolt, which had never been remove in 15 years from my 3800 engined Grand Prix with hardly even breathing hard. That a cordless tool could have this much power is astounding.

Hitachi WR18DL 18-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Wrench

Hitachi WR18DL 18-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact WrenchI install garage doors, and my impact wrench is my number one weapon. I have owned a 14.4 Milwaukee, 14.4 DeWalt, 18v DeWalt, and now this one. I had to send the Milwaukee back numerous times because of it's poor build quality. I have had motors die on the DeWalt due to its poor cooling design. There are small plastic fins in the motor which move air and keep the motor cool, and they have broken of on every DeWalt impact I have owned. I have been using the Hitachi for more than 4 months without a problem. I look actually look forward to using it. The battery stays secured to the drill, even after a four five foot fall. I laughed at the little light it comes with at first, but it has come in handy in dark garages. The torque is strong enough to pull the lug nuts of a wheel hub, and the battery life is stellar. One battery will get me through multiple double sized garage door installs. The DeWalt would kill at least too full batteries in only one install. It's safe to say that one Hitachi lithium-ion batter = 3+ DeWalt NiCads.

Another reviewer has mentioned a bad smell from the motor. All my impacts, drills, saws, and other power tools have gave off burning odor during the break-in of the tool. This is normal.

One other component of the impact which I enjoy is the pin. Unlike the DeWalt, the pin is designed to keep the socket secure when the pin of the impact is in line with the hole of the socket. The socket WILL come off of the impact with a little force unlike the DeWalt. With the DeWalt, the pin had to be compressed with a nail or screw in order to remove the socket.

To sum this review up... Buy the Hitachi.

Whoa....size does matter! Small, compact, lightweight size in this instance. If you want a cordless impact wrench...you've gotta try this baby! I can hardly believe the power it has for such a small tool! I work at a wrecking yard driving fork lift, and pull and park an average of 30-40 vehicles a day. I have had my Hitachi impact for almost a year now and I use it 5 days a week to remove wheels from many of these cars and trucks among other tasks. Then I bring it home on weekends in case I have any tasks at home that I might want use it for....it's a tool I just don't like to be without in case I have a wrenching job! I am a mechanical guy and work on cars, appliances, and about anything else that I can fix myself.

I have owned several impact wrenches. I've had a few cheap ones that I won't bother to talk about. Previous to my Hitachi, I had a Goodyear Racing impact wrench. I liked it and it did a good job, but it was heavy, clumsy, and pretty much designed just for using on lug nuts. The batteries also didn't last a long time on a charge and deteriorated a little each time they were recharged requiring replacement after about 6 months. Finally, my charger went belly up as it fried my last battery, so, I went shopping for a new impact wrench as I really need to have a cordless impact on my job.

First I bought a Makita impact wrench thinking that would be the answer. It was lithium-ion, so that solved the battery problem to a great degree, but what a monster. Again, big and heavy and clumsy, and I don't think it was as powerful as my Goodyear Racing impact gun....I quickly returned this puppy.

Then I tried the Hitachi WR18DL....and let me tell you.....this baby smokes! Very light and small and easy to handle but has lots of power and 2 speed settings and was about the same price as the Makita. It is super fast for removing or installing bolts and nuts of all kinds and sizes. It won't do like 1 ton trucks and once in a while at work I will get a lug nut that is so tight that it won't break it loose and I have to break the nut with a fourway by hand. That said, she goes thru 95% of the lug nuts and anything else I have tried without breakin' a sweat.

This little Hitachi impact makes every job that involves wrenching fast and easy and a pleasure to do. As another reviewer said, and I concur, "I actually look forward to using this tool". I have two 3.0 amp hour batteries that I use and they do a great job and last a long time on a charge.

In conclusion....yeah....you can buy a more powerful impact (just double the price and weight), but when you consider size....weight....power and price combined....I don't think you can beat this little impact wrench with anything else on the market! Just a note, if you're shopping for an impact wrench, make sure its an impact wrench your looking at and not an impact driver.....totally different tools.

I am a satisified customer of this impact from Hitachi and was happy to do a review of this tool.

I am a Hitachi fan converted over from Makita. I use this Hitachi WR18DL 18-volt Cordless Impact Wrench to change flat tires on my 2 construction trailers. This Hitachi takes the drudgery out of changing flat tires.

Now I am also using it instead of my air impact wrench around my shop, etc. etc. NO AIR HOSES NEEDED.

Read Best Reviews of Hitachi WR18DL 18-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Wrench Here

Got the WR18DL today and it promptly took a lug nut that was torqued to 80ft/lb off my Maxima in about 5 seconds. I plan on keeping this lightweight bulldog in my trunk at all times for just that purpose.

One thing about Hitachi Li-Ion tools that gets overlooked is their battery technology. All Li-Ion batteries are not alike! Hitachi uses the same nano-phosphate formula that DeWalt uses. This technology allows the cycle-life of these batteries to be tripled over the standard manganese (Milwaukee and pretty much everyone else uses this) to 1000-1500 cycles. Manganese Li-Ion only lasts 300-500 cycles same as NiCd and NiMH. You will need new batteries a lot less often with Hitachi and DeWalt as a result.

I really wish that Ryobi would adapt their One+ impact driver to a wrench because I have their 18V Li-Ion battery, but they didn't yet. Since Ryobi uses manganese Li-Ion, this is no great hardship. Hitachi sells many bare tools that can use these batteries, so while it's not as versatile as the One+ system, it's the next best thing with better batteries!

If you're taking big rig tires off, go for the Snap-On CT4850, but anything shy of that can be done at half the price and half the weight by the WR18DL (again) with better batteries!

Lovin' it.

Want Hitachi WR18DL 18-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Wrench Discount?

Don't let the size of this tool trick you. This fanstastic little powerhouse removes the wheel lugs on my trailer and SUVs rapidly. The specs say it's only 1950in-pounds, or 162ft-pounds. It seems to have this plus some. For seriously stubborn tasks, a large and heavy electric may be necessary or a pneumatic impact for the ultimate torque, but for 98% of what I do messing with my Jeeps and lawn tractor blade changing etc, this is a super convenient, small, lightweight powerhouse... (and I don't have to move my compressor, or run super long air lines to my work.)

I shopped for a long time before buying this. There are heavier impacts... Ingersol Rand makes a great cordless with Lithium batteries at 350 ft-pounds. It's $400 w/ two batteries. The Dewalt cordless impact has 300 ft-pounds at $299, but it continues to use the outdated Nicad batteries..in the heat where I live, these fail rapidly and you spend a fortune replacing them every year. I looked at more powerful plug-ins, all above the $150 range have great torque (like the Dewalt:340 ft-pounds at $179), but you'll have to run that power cord to your task. And, most of these tools are HEAVY.

My plan is to use this lightweight powerhouse for most of my chores, and when I need super torque, either hit the task with a 24 inch breaker bar, or breakdown and get a corded electric. If your wheel lugs are not seriously coroded and neglected, this tool seems to have the muscle to take them off. It's so small, it's almost fun to see this tool remove the lugs so easily!

Sunforce 7 Amp Charge Controller

Sunforce 7 Amp Charge ControllerBad:

Really cheap quality. Included instructions don't provide enough information. Website is just as un-informative. Cheap connector wires (low current), and is not equipped with screw-on terminal junctions.

Good: Product works as advertised. Amazinlgly "regulates" the voltage to the required amount so as not to overcharge the battery. Beware though, in order to test the actual output voltage, you must apply a load on the battery end of the controller BEFORE. Failing this, the output can register volts as high as 20 volts !!! Apparently applying an actual load causes the controller to output the correct voltage range lucky me, cause I bought 4 units ! The LEDS alternately flickers (fast for good voltage input and slow for low to no voltage on solar panel). The manual did NOT state the order of LED flashes.

(1) Fast LED flashes good voltage/current

(2) Slow LED flashes low/no voltage/current

(3) steady Green fully charged

(4) steady amber possible no load OR really low voltage/current

I recommend you go out and buy 'em. The are a really good deal and does the job at the best price ! I use them in Jamaica, to provide my appliances with power during power outages (very frequent here). Used with solar panels and DC to AC inverter, of course. Considered using a generator, but too many accidents here with generators, too noisy, too bulky, and during hurricane aftermath, fuel is a problem. Solar is freely available, so it was the BEST option all round.

Hope this helps all readers !

This unit is simply an electronic switch, it is either on or off. The problem with that is that when it is on the full force of a high current is applied to the battery and if the battery is almost charged the battery voltage quickly rises to the cut-off voltage (14.2v). When current is cut off the battery voltage quickly falls to the turn on voltage (13.1v), and the unit turns the current on again. This can happen several times a minute when the current is high and the battery is almost charged. Also, in operating this way, the battery never gets fully charged, which requires a small constant current.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering this unit spend another $10 and buy the vastly superior HQRP 10Amp controller or something similar which controls the amount of current, rather than just switching current on or off.

I have this unit connect to two automotive 12V batteries with three 15W panels connect to it. So far the charger works as advertised by preventing battery drain when the sun goes down and charging while the panels are producing at least 13 volts. It is pretty much an install and forget item. Additionally I have those same two batteries tied into one of my trucks 12V power points so that the batteries charge when the vehicle is running by way of the alternator. Even with this double charging set up, the charge controller appears unphased and shows a charge light in the daytime and has on two occasions indicated a fully charged green light.

As a few others have posted, in here, the quality control on this Chinese unit is poor. The wiring on my unit was reversed. Once I set things right, the unit worked correctly for about four months before complete failure. My battery died in the bargain, due to the unit failure that allowed my battery to drain completely with no load on it except this unit and the solar panel. I'll try one more and then update this review. Update: I just ordered: KINTREX SPC0601 Solar Charge Controller 7Amp, 100 Watt,... At just $10, on this site, it's a far better deal and has an extra indicator light for low charge condition. The connectors should mate up perfectly if the pictures are accurate. As far as the reversed wiring goes, in all electrical applications with connectors, an exposed contact is normally the ground, coming from a power source. The hot side is recessed and/or shielded to keep you from grabbing it and then a grounded object or contact, which would result in a shock. This scheme is reversed, obviously, in the non-powered side of the circuit, ie., the thing you're sending the power to that mates with the connection just described. When I called Sunforce's rep, in Canada, and spoke with him, he denied knowledge of any other incidents of reversed wiring. That's really curious, as others have posted about the reversals, as I mentioned, above. UPDATE: 4/2011The Kintrex unit works flawlessly. You are well-advised to go with it and leave the reviewed unit, as above, alone. It costs much more and is inferior.

This radio does what you need not what you don't. The reception is good and sounds good. The calls I have placed were received "Loud and Clear". It is compact and comes with any accessory (rechargeable battery and two chargers, waterproof bag, bracket, clip) that you could want. It also runs on AA cells if your rechargeable runs down.

It does not have Digital Selective Calling which is not something I care about. It is not waterproof outside of its bag also not a concern to me the way I use it.

I am a 25 year boatowner and I think the radio is great.

It'll do all the VHF channels and weather...even has a weather alert. Ours runs all day on a charge and gets plugged in at night. One time we forgot to charge it and slapped the AA batteries in to keep us online. I love the call tones...lets our comrades know who is calling before they answer. Also like the 'lock' feature that prevents accidental setting changes.

For me, the negatives are:

1) It will receive, but not transmit while charging (we overcame this by simply using AA batteries when the rechargeable battery ran low).

2) The set up/menu system is not intuitive we had to keep the manual handy for a couple weeks.

Would I buy another one? In a heartbeat!

I have both the water-resistant model and the less expensive model that comes with the waterproof case. For the money both are excellent. I was having the same problem with both radios leading me to believe there may be a button pushing sequence that would allow the radios to function as advertised.

The problem is that under some conditions, the radio gets locked in a situation where the channels and features can't be changed. Also the scanning feature is disabled. The only available capabilities are channels 16/9 and the weather channels.

After wrestling with this for a while,it turns out that the solution is really quite simple. The problem occurs after you enter the weather channels and then then switch to Channel 16. You now loose the ability to scan and change channels. To get out of the problem, enter the weather channels and hold the Menu button down to exit the weather channels. This will restore the functionality. As I think about this, it is logical that the method of getting into the weather channels, and as a result, getting into this problem, was holding the Menu button down.

2-in-1 Sync & Charge USB Travel Kit (USB Cable & Car Adapter) for Motorola Atrix 4G

2-in-1 Sync & Charge USB Travel Kit for Motorola Atrix 4GThe reason I purchase this USB charger kit was because I was hoping I could also use it to charge my ipod if need be. However whenever I added the Apple USB cable, it wouldn't charge any of my Ipods. It did charge all of my Motorola products so it works fine, though to charge 10% of the battery takes 20 minutes, so it's not the most efficient charger.

What more can be said? It cost $3 and some change so it beats paying retail price for the same product which do the same thing.

BMW Genuine Factory OEM 82110406881 Advanced Battery Charging System

BMW Genuine Factory OEM 82110406881 Advanced Battery Charging SystemThe BMW battery tender does just what it supposed to do. Keep the battery charged. I have a 750Li that is not driven as much as the everyday car, so I have been having some issues with low battery warning lights on my dash. Apparently these cars use a lot of power each time you open a door, or do some short drives, (less than 10 miles a day.) If the car sits for a few days the car's charging system does not have enough time to bring the battery up to full charge.

The battery tender is very easy to use and it charges the battery and then shuts itself off and monitors the battery condition. If the power in the battery should drop below a certain level, the chargeer kicks on and brings the battery back to full charge.

The only flaw is the alligator clips are somewhat small and have to be almost fully opened to find on the battery terminals under the hood. They could have made the clips a little larger.

But for the price, and the fact that it is a BMW approved battery charger, it keeps a BMW battery fully charged.

My 535 has had an annoying clock reset this past year because of 'weak battery warning'. It's only driven very little and the many electronics in this otherwise wonderful car has drained the battery. The limited driving was not enough to sufficiently keep it it fully charged. So enter this battery charger, worked wonderfully and fully charged my battery overnight...

I use this on my BMW, my gargen tractor and all my other 12V batteries. It's safe and it works fantastic...

Update: Almost three years later and it's still working perfectly. We're retired and as such our BMW doesn't get driven every day so it stays on the charger almost 100% of the time in between trips. When I take it off the car I usually just move it to my Troybilt garden tiller or garden tractor. A really great product that belongs in everybodys garage.

The charger works great and meets all expections needed for storing our Z4 for the winter. It was also the best price we could find.

Thanks,

Works great. The charge battery signal has disappeared. Works slowly but surely. Ttook 50 hours to fully charge to about 90+% of capacity. But I reckon I saved about $250 on a new battery!

Ingersoll Rand W5130-K1 3/8-Inch Mid-Torque Impactool Kit with Charger, Li-Ion Battery and Case

Ingersoll Rand W5130-K1 3/8-Inch Mid-Torque Impactool Kit with Charger, Li-Ion Battery and CaseA little information about me, I work on cars for a living and as a hobby, I've been used to air tools but ever since I bought the IRw7150 I rarely ever turn on my compressor any more, since I already had three large IR batteries buying the irw5130 was a no brainier, though I did think about going with other electric impacts Snap on in particular had more power, and the dewalt had more "options". For me the main reason I bought the ir5130 is the batteries. The day after I got it I tried it out on a corolla, it handled 'most' of the subframe bolts, besides the lug nuts and axle nuts. It's got a little led bulb that I was unaware of until I got it(I did not do my homework on this one). I have yet to measure its potential with a torque wrench but when a rusted subframe bolt could not be taken its big brother w7150 was called into action. Its small and light enough to use hours upon hours without feeling strained( I used the w7150 for many things including batteries, and small screws that hold belly pans up twas a hassle to say the least). As of late I have noticed how much I miss the w5130 since I leave it at work, thinking I may buy another to keep my projects running on at home but have to find the right way of tricking myself into doing so. Anyways I bought mine for 303 and change, off the trucks they will run well over 500, w7150 will run 700 off the trucks. I'll stop rambling now since its 12am and exhausted from work, all I have to say is without a 3/8 portable impact be it IR's snappies, dewalt etc. my line of work would be much more laborious...Fin.

I tried one of these impacts out because I have the 1/2 inch version (W7150) and compared to the SO CT4410 that I have which is 14.4 V Ni-Cd there wasn't any noticeable difference in torque, I kinda think that if the SO had new batteries I might have a bit more power. I used the 3.0ah battery that my w7150 has and it's not more powerful than the CT4410. If you don't have a cordless 3/8 impact get the IR, better priced same performance, if you have the CT4410 keep it, the W7150 is more powerful hands down than the CT7850 I have both use them everyday. It's hard to know what to buy sometimes just passing on my unbiased experience with these tools.

Moultrie 6-Volt Solar Panel

Moultrie 6-Volt Solar PanelI have several deer feeders I've been using for over 10 years and have tried many different battery chargers as I run the feeders year round. I find these Moultree chargers to be the best. Easy to mount on the leg of the feeder and they last for several years. Only complaint: the electric line is NOT shielded and squirrels eat through it after a few months or so. I always need to go back and encase the electric lines in a metal sheath that I get at Lowes or Home Depot. Also, the batteries usually die after a year or two before the solar charger fails. Also remember to clean the solar charger every few months to keep it operating at peak efficiency. Keeep the charger aimed at the best afternoon sun also. It should get at least 2-3 hours of sunlight a day. More is better, but I find it only needs 2-3 hours a day to keep the batteries fully charged. I also use a 7ah 6-volt battery instead of the standard 4.5ah 6-volt battery as it defiantely lasts longer.

Works as advertised. With this and a 6 volt rechargeable battery, I was able to keep my deer feeder going the entire season (I usually go through about 3 to 4 alkaline batteries in this amount of time). I have a meter on my feeder that gives me the status of battery power. After 4 months it still says the battery has 100% power. It was nice to know that after a busy week at work, that I could go sit in the stand on saturday morning and know that me feeder was working.

eForCity Ripid Car Charger (Micro Usb ) Compatible with Motorola Droid X2 Daytona, Black

eForCity Ripid Car Charger Compatible with Motorola Droid X2 Daytona, BlackWorks well and the phone charges quickly. That's all I want out of a phone charger. What else could I ask for?

This car charger was cheap and it is nice to have a charger while you are on the go. When I am driving it is nice because I can keep it plugged in, but as far as being fully charged when I left it on it for a few hours and just took it off overnight it died. I would understand when I am using it, but I was sleeping. You get what you pay for so yes it is there when I need it but definitely do not depend on it. The cord is also not very long so it is awkward trying to hold it in the car while it is plugged in I feel like the charger is going to come loose from my phone.

Essential Kit for the Garmin Nuvi 760 760T includes a Car and Wall Charger - uses Gomadic TipExchan

Essential Kit for the Garmin Nuvi 760 760T includes a Car and Wall Charger - uses Gomadic TipExchange Technology
  • Kit includes: DC Car Charger and a AC Wall Charger
  • Advanced internal circuitry prevents device from power surges; overcharging and short-circuiting
  • High current output current ( 1000mA ) for faster charging; full lifetime warranty
  • TipExchange Technology protects investment providing means to upgrade charger tips at lower cost (Tips Included)
  • Charging adapter works with both foreign and domestic outlets (100-240 Volts AC)

I bought this cause I needed a new, cheap, charger for my Nuvi. The car charger and wall chargers work as advertised. The one drawback is the plug (or adapter for the plug) that goes in to the Nuvi. It's way too long and, since the port is at the bottom of the Nuvi, it makes the Nuvi hard to properly mount in the car (I have one of the beanbag mounts so it sits on the dashboard rather than hanging from the window). I have to push the Nuvi so it's hanging almost half off the dashboard just so I can tilt the screen down to where I can actually see it since the plug is in the way. If your original Nuvi car charger breaks and you need a cheap one this works but it may be worth it to get an official Garmin charger instead. You get what you pay for.

GA-NHWC: Hardwire Cable for Garmin Nuvi (Mini-USB connector)

GA-NHWC: Hardwire Cable for Garmin NuviI installed this on my motorcycle so that I could charge my phone and use it as a GPS. It works great and I have had no issues. The box that does the step down from 12 volt to 5 volt I feel is a bit too large and was kind of hard to hide. I would search a round a bit more for one that is smaller and come back to this if you can't find one knowing this one works.
