The features are what sell this radio, but the cons will make you think twice about it. I recommend downloading the User's Manual PDF from Uniden for more specifics about these radios.

CONs -

I'm going to primarily talk about the cons of these radios since that is why you are reading this review.

1) They are larger than you think. If you intend on using these in a park or on the slopes, be advised that they are longer and thicker than most radios. My kids did not like to carry them for that reason, and it was not easy for me either, with such a long (rubber coated and flexible to a degree) antenna poking you in the side constantly.

2) They are also heavier than most radios of this type. I suspect that is due mostly to the type of construction given their water resistant nature.

3) The overall construction is solid, and has a good feel to it, but I would have to say the weakest link is the detachable Belt Clips, which are included. The good news is they're replaceable if you break or lose them.

4) The speaker is small, and in my opinion too small. Sounds distorted like you are in a deep hole.

5) We ended up repeating ourselves a lot due to the poor sound quality, especially with any real distance or background noise. The Volume settings are 0 7, and the MAX volume 7 is poor and is hard to hear in places like amusement parks. Although it does have alert and call tones that can punch through the background noise, the poor quality, distortion and minimal volume at max can be a real negative, and requires a the user to compensate with slower more pronounced speech, or hold the unit closer to your ears.

6) These units do not have ear bud or VOX features, again due to their water resistant construction, and it's a tradeoff to consider. It probably would have been a nice feature for Hunters.

7) The Radios are only usable with the factory battery packs. I highly recommend spare batteries if you don't have a way to recharge them in the field.

8) Unfortunately the Charger is slow, and they are not a smart charger, and will eventually cook the batteries over time if the radios are left in the charger too long.

9) The Battery Condition Monitor is a joke. The Batteries have a capacitive nature, so under light use, the indication shows Full due the batteries apparent voltage appearing higher than when under load and pulling the voltage down to its real state of charge. This becomes a problem when you think you have good battery capacity remaining, and then with a few minutes of use, the indication rapidly drops to Low Battery Warning, and then it starts Beeping to warn you that you only have a few minutes of use remaining. The Batteries last about 1 ½ days on a charge with light use, and a day with heavier use depending on what power level you Transmit at.

10) Transmission Distance is the usual overrated manufacture Hype. In an average residential area, I got good clear transmissions at about ¼ mile using 1 watt transmissions, and about 1 ½ miles using the 5 watt BOOST mode, after that, it drops off rapidly in quality. My best transmission distance (understandable but not real clear) was 9 ½ miles as-the-crow-flies over open salt water from about 200 ft above sea level from hilltop to hilltop across a bay including about ¼ mile of land on each end as measured by Google Earth. Not bad, but I was expecting better, especially over water given the 28 mile hype.

11) The screen is adequate, but some of the smaller lettering can be difficult to see in bright light.

12) I like the Missed call Alert, but I think Uniden missed the boat when they limited the various ways that feature can be used. I does have its plusses, but I think they could have done better with this feature given that these radios will be purchased primarily for their outdoorsmen features.

13) If there are other radios in the area using the same frequency, it can really affect the performance of the radios. This is true of any of these type of radios, since the privacy codes, are really an automatic Squelch control to help keep you from hearing unwanted radio conversation from those outside of your desired users. As an example, while at Disneyland, two local (outside the park) Radio Hams were using Base Stations on our channel to chat. We didn't know this until a period where we were trying to talk, but their radios were overwhelming ours, and garbling our transmissions to the point where we used Cell Phone Backup. At the time we were not in the "GROUP MODE", so I was unable to switch the other radios as mentioned below.

14) The CALL feature works great, but functions differently between the "Group Mode" and the "Standard Mode" because the Group Mode is designed to be able to single out a single user in a group of 16 or less users, rather than the "ALL CALL" in standard mode. This can be confusing to users in the GROUP MODE who are not Techno-Junkies, and get confused easily. If everyone in the GROUP understands how to use this feature, it's great. On the other hand, it can lead to someone thinking they have used the CALL button to page everyone with a single push, but in fact, the first push asks WHO in the Group you are paging, ALL or 1-16 by pushing a series of buttons, or at least pushing the CALL button twice for everyone. In the Standard Mode, one push does the job.

PROs -

1) They float and can withstand minor submersion for 30 min with no ill effects I have not tested this feature, but it's nice to know that if you do drop it in water, you will probably still have a working radio.

2) The Group Features and especially the ability to change every radio in the group's Channel Number to a different frequency from a single radio is GREAT Well done Uniden.

3) The Radio has a selection of Tones for Paging and other features. Enough that it should meet most needs.

4) I also like that you can turn the Roger Beep OFF. Some radios I have used can't do that, and that can be annoying after a while.

5) The Menu System is fairly easy to use, and there is a Key Lock feature that should help prevent unwanted changes. Some keys are still available such as Volume Control when the Lock feature is active.

I have 35 plus years of experience with industrial radios including commercial grade radios for Fire Service and in industrial Power Plant settings. As a radio hobbyist, I have used most types of non-commercial radios from walkie-talkies, & CB's up thru the current range of FRS, GMRS & MURS radios. These Uniden Radios transmit over a reasonable distance for non-commercial radios, but that is a function of Terrain and Obstacle dependent as is true in the commercial world too.

Overall, I like these radios for their specific features. They are a decent value, but like most radios in this class, they have their pluses and minuses. If you have a realistic understanding of what affects transmission distance, you will find these radio's adequate for their intended purpose i.e. use around harsh or wet environments. If you're looking for radios to use in normal dry conditions, there are much better values out there.

waterproof, but a little big. wanted to put it on a helmet, but may be too big for that. headphones jack would be nice too, but that would probably affect waterproof-ness. otherwise, as good as advertised.

Has trouble charging both occasionally, but overall its great for docking and charging your spare battery, so if you know you got a long day ahead or going on a hike, you can just pack the fully charged spare battery. Or if your constantly on the run, you can just stop by and switch out the batteries and let it charge while you use the other. The USB to computer function is also business, as you can use it as a media dock for your phone as well. Very pleased.

You have to decide whether to use the charger or the USB into the computer. Since I turn off my computer every night I cannot use the USB. When I want to sync with my computer, I have to switch the input cable. It's a minor inconvenience, but still an inconvenience. I had hoped it had two inputs so that I could set it up once and forget about it.

PowerGen 2.4Amps / 12W Dual USB Car charger Designed for Apple and Android Devices - White

This product has two major issues:

1. While it's description claims it has a 2 Amp port and a 1 Amp port, the reality is that it has bridged the two ports and it can only source 2 Amps total. It is not capable of delivering 3 Amps combined like the description implicitly claims and could never simultaneously charge an iPad and a smart phone. (UPDATE: The technical details section now indicates more clearly the 2A total, which is appreciated.)

2. The 2 Amp port appears to be using the Apple protocol for USB power, so that port will only provide 0.5 Amps to most other devices.

The upside of this is the 1 Amp port somewhat over delivers, and can source 2 Amps if nothing else is connected and 1.5 Amps if the 2 Amp port is sourcing 0.5 Amps for a non-Apple device. Thus this product can support one-high power non-Apple device (in the 1 Amp port) and one lower power device (in the 2 Amp port).

Now some more background/details...

First, a little background on USB charging for those who don't know:

The USB power spec is for 0.5 Amps at 5 Volts... or 2.5 Watts. This was great up until the last couple years when devices have gotten really power hungry, particularly smartphones and tablets and to a lesser extent dedicated GPS's. Some of these devices use over 2 Amps, particularly the tablets like the iPad (or in my case the HP Touchpad).

Manufacturers of these devices therefore had a dilemma. If they had their devices pull more than 0.5 Amps, they risked damaging the power source, which could be a computer, that was only prepared to source 0.5 Amps. Thus the manufacturers have used tricks to determine whether their device is connected to an unknown source, at which point they purposely only draw 0.5 Amps, or to the dedicated charger that was provided with the device, where they can draw all the power they need.

There seem to be two common tricks used. The first is to short the two data-wires together in the charger. This is what most non-Apple devices do. Since a computer or older device wouldn't have done this, the device can assume it is safe to draw all the power it needs.

Apple seems to have taken a different approach, one that I don't fully understand but know can be seen by the fact that the data lines are neither open nor shorted when the charger is plugged in, and is more sophisticated and probably superior, because I suspect it allows the device to know exactly how much power it can use.

While Apple taking a better approach might be nice in concept, it's created chaos in the USB charger product category. What is the non-specific charger to do? They can't support both.

This device chose to go the Apple route for the 2 Amp port. I don't own any high-power Apple devices, so I can't say for sure, but I suspect this unit performs well with Apple devices. Using electronic equipment I was able to draw 2 Amps when putting a fixed load on this USB charging port. However, when I connect any of the 3 high-power devices I have (HP Touchpad (2 Amps), Motorola Triumph Android phone (0.85 Amps) and the LG Optimus Slider (0.7 Amps)), none of them drew all the current they could have, because they were expecting a shorted set of data-lines.

Luckily for my purposes, the 1 Amp port on this device uses the data-line shorting method. As such, it was able to deliver all the power my Triumph and Optimus wanted. However, for some reason, even when it was the only device connected, it would not fully charge the HP Touchpad at the 2 Amps it could have, because for one reason or another, the HP Touchpad rejected it as a high power charger.

To be honest, this surprised me because it was able to source the 2 Amps the Touchpad claims it needs and the HP Touchpad charger has the data-lines shorted. So I'm not sure why this didn't work.

Thus this device gets 3 stars (UDPATE: 4 stars) because it can source the current it claims (minus the somewhat deceptive 2A + 1A notation (UPDATE: Which is now more clear in the technical details)), would likely support an iPad like it claims, but falls short in other regards noted elsewhere.

For non-Apple users, or even more so mixed users (say an iPad and an Android phone?) this device is superior to the other device I purchased, the "Kensington K33497US PowerBolt Duo Car Charger" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003PU01M4/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details) because on that device, NEITHER port works with non-Apple devices (although it performed better power-wise, see my review over there for details).

The contacts on this charger do not work at all with either of the power outlets in my 2007 Honda Accord EX-L. I have tried jiggling, rotating, wedging, reinserting, and every other motion I can think of to try to form a solid contact, but the most I've gotten is a couple of short blips from my iPhone indicating that it detects a power source; a moment later, the contact breaks and the phone no longer charges. This charger is absolutely unusable in my car.

However, I put charger in my girlfriend's 2002 VW Beetle and it works perfectly. So I just let her keep it instead of dealing with return shipping, and I ordered the Kensington K33497US PowerBolt Duo for myself.

So 1 star for not working in my car (and not warning me about it before ordering), but since it works fine in another car and I'd probably give it 5 stars if it worked in mine, I'm averaging it to 3.

I paid for the new model but received the old model in the new model box. Irregardless, it did not work as well as advertised. I only received and extra 3:30 hours of video power for my 5th gen IPOD. I returned it and bought the Energizer 'Energi To Go' for $20. Tiny plastic holder of 2 AA batteries that fits all Ipods. My IPOD played movies for 8 hours and since you can always carry around a couple of spare batteries, the Energizer can have you watching as long as you need. Much better product for a 3rd of the cost.

I took a chance and purchase this item. It was worth it. I am using a 32GB Micro SD card have it set to record @ 5 minutes intervals.

I am very please with this item. I would not recommend for night use due to the fact that the LED light are very bright and would be an distraction to un-coming traffic.

Other than that the quality is not HD but you can't get anything with a better price budget.

I concur with the previous review that camera will stop recording in 15 seconds to 4 minutes depending on Loop setting if the camera sees no motion (this is a separate issue from Motion Detection setting). I spent many hours of trial and error to get around this bug and could not do it. No documentation on Motion Detection and Gsensor setup options. Another example was Loop recording options were 1,2,3 minutes not 5,10,15 minutes as stated in the poorly written manual. I had version 1.00 of the firmware (2012/11/13). Camera has potential; the image quality was good for a $55 camera at all the selectable resolutions. I bet version 2.00 will work. Returned it.

Unit was very easy to put together (wheels and handles). Connected the battery lead, put in oil, gas and it started right up. Battery was charged from the factory. It does come with a AC charger for the battery that plugs into the front of the generator panel. I wish it was a trickle charger but it said to only leave it plugged in for max of 48 hours. It does have a pull start backup.

Bought it in combo with the GenTran 3028K 30 Amp 8-Circuit Transfer Switch/Power on Amazon. The manual transfer switch kit came with 25ft generator cord, plugs and everything I needed to connect to my load center. I can run 10 circuits and almost everything in my house except the AC. Ran it for about 8 hours with partial load on one tank of gas.

Delivery of the Generac GP7000E was fast and the curbside delivery by the carrier was excellent. They brought the generator up onto my front porch. (not something they do all the time). The generator is sturdy and well made. As a handyman I liked the fact that most of the important maintenance parts are easily assessable (oil filter, spark plug etc.)

Some assembly is required for the frame (handles, wheels etc.). The diagrams were hard to read mainly because some important illustrations are head on drawings rather than showing front and rear). However it's not hard to figure out.

After filling with the supplied oil and hooking up the battery wire to the starting coil (it's tagged with a illustration in the manual) I filled it with 5 gallons of gas with a fuel stabilizer. In today's age of methanol/gasoline mixtures I feel this is a must.

I then started it up with two short pushes of the power switch.

The sound is tolerable as almost all generators are somewhat loud. I then tested it under load through my transfer switch and it did very well.

The next day I tested the recoil start. Here it took me six or seven pulls to start it. The good news though is the recoil start is positioned in such a way as it pulls straight without obstruction. This was not always true on older Generac models where the frame sometimes made a straight pull difficult. It was also easy to pull and not the strenuous heart attack pulls needed on older models.

My only complaints are trivial. I do not like the start button at the back of the machine ,near the choke , nor do I like the fact it is a black button on a black field. You can stare straight at it and not see it.

The manual leaves a bit to be desired.

Also , this machine does not charge the battery when it runs. It does however come with a 120 volt charger. This however only makes sense if you routinely check the battery. Obviously in a power failure situation with an undercharged battery it would not be of only use.

Overall I believe this portable generator is very well made and highly recommended.

I have owned and used much more expensive and more notable generators and believe it compares favorably.

I bought this to replace my 5000w pull start generator, also a Generac. I had good luck with the old one.

This is actually a pretty good unit. However the fact that it does not charge the battery when running is just plain stupid!! I also found that even if I charge the battery, it fails in cold weather. I ran separate positive and negative wires and hooked them to a small car battery, which I have on an automatic battery tender.

Now, I never have to worry about it!

During the last power outage, the low oil cut off switch failed. It would sporadically kill the engine, just enough to make it stumble, and then quit under load. It would restart, and then stumble again. Drove me nuts! I had to bring it in for repair in the middle of the outage! The repair shop figured out it was the low oil cutoff, and put in a new one under warranty. When I got it home, I promptly disconnected the damn thing. I am smart enough to check the oil!

When it is running good, it will run for over 12 hours on a full tank, which is great....

I have noted that I "like" this item, but I really don't know yet. The generator arrived with a leaking gas tank and a fuel gauge that does not work. We found a dealer that could look at the generator and hopefully repair it. It's been three weeks now and still no repair. I do hope that the generator will be repaired soon and in good working order for us. The Generac name was highly recommended. Perhaps the generator was damaged during shipment and it may be better to purchase something like this from a local dealer.

I have had many camping lamps, kerosene, battery and other solar lamps but this one is really compact and powerful. The design makes it easy to bring these lamps on camping trips because they are so compact and lightweight. The kids love it because they can use it as a powerful flashlight when they are out walking in the dark or hang it in their tent or on the table to read or do their chores. The first week we did a test of the claim that the light will last 8 hours on a single days charge. We placed the lamp in the window at 6:00am and began use at 8:00pm. We left the light on the reading lamp level. At 6:00am I awoke to find the lamp still shining bright. I have had lamps with batteries die after a couple of hours and other solar lamps last maybe four hours. This light has successfully survived two canoe trips and a backpack hike into Yosemite and lit the way every night, without fail, delivering great light!

Great light and a greater cause.

First, I must say I had great doubt about this product since most of the reviews here are from people who received it for product review vs those who actually purchase it to use on a daily basis. Also, if you purchase it directly from the wakawaka 4light. com, it is only $60 for 2 grey ones with free shipping within the US.

I have quite a few solar gadgets all around my house. This is the best solar light currently in the market mainly due to its brightness and duration. I used to like the d.light S10 and S1 until the WakaWaka came out last year. The WakaWaka has 2 LED's instead of one like the S1 and S10. I have 4 WakaWaka lights on every night in those 3 rooms that I spend mostly in at light and I hardly even have to turn on any light. If you shine it on a white wall, the whole room just lights up. It is great bright ambient light.

According to their website, the internal battery should last about 3 years for daily use. Hope this helps.

I consider myself a creative person with an eye for fashion and design. When I first saw the WakaWaka light I was very excited by the design and hoped that the light would be powerful enough to light a tent, dinner table and use for ambient lighting. I recently received one of the lights and they have exceeded my expectations. The unit is lightweight but solid in construction. The first thing I did was take the light out of the box, go into the darkened garage and see how bright this light really was. WOW, was my first reaction. When you click the button once, it gives you the 200% level lighting which is a very bright white light. It lit up the entire garage.

On the second click we had the reading light setting. I set the Waka up on a wine bottle (works great) and it produces great reading light perfect for preparing meals when camping or as an enhanced light on my husband's workbench where there are dark area. This is really a good product and I truly appreciate the goals of the company. I think everyone should own one for those emergencies that come up every now and again... plus obviously camping etc. I was really impressed with the light pattern and it was obviously designed to illuminate a small room with a flood pattern, rather than a spotlight effect.

However, I decided to knock a point off because I think it could be further improved:

* The case is a little plasticky and cheap feeling with the top seam in particular quite toy-like. The instructions state that it shouldn't be dropped and I would think a drop on concrete may damage the case? I would like to see a rubberized case like some tough external hard-drives have for durability, so there is no chance of damage from a drop. I think the solar panel would also be better protected if it was sunk into the case a little, rather than being flush mounted. I really think a universal product like this should be pretty much bullet proof, especially for the intended common use in the third world countries.

* I think the instructions are poor. I understand they are designed for Global use without language, but I found them non-intuitive. There are no directions on the units state of charge... there is a little flashing LED on the top that the instructions do not mention. It appears to change its pattern or frequency while charging... it would be nice to know exactly what this means?

* I think the unit needs to be much cheaper for Global distribution. In the US, the fact that its made abroad and is subject to exchange rates etc, probably raises its price? However, I'm hoping that folks buying in the US are simply subsidizing its price so it can be offered in poorer countries for substantially less. I'm insinuating its quite pricey for what it is, because we are so used to dirt-cheap products like this from China... however, I'm certainly not equating this product with one of those, its superior and works well. Global distribution at a lower price should be the goal I feel, and then many households would own several of these.

So, a nice product from an admirable company, but there's still room for improvement methinks.

I bought this inverter to power a laptop computer while in any of our vehicles and it serves the purpose very well. I like the design which goes well with my laptop (a Toshiba Satellite M645). It's very light, slim enough to easily fit in a laptop case, has a power led to let you know its on and not only plugs into a standard 12V accessory port in a vehicle but also can be used on a plane (check first to see that your seat has a power outlet). It also has over/under voltage protection (shuts off in either case) and is the only one I found that can actually deliver 175 watts of power (not just the temp surge wattage). Granted I haven't actually put that to the test, but all of the other inverters I looked into in this class delivered less continuous power if you read the fine print. If I find out different with this one, I'll edit this review (and I'll also be in touch with PowerBright as this is what they advertise...).

The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the outlet does not grip the AC plug from the device very securely. Its good enough as long as you don't pull on the cord which you shouldn't do anyway. Otherwise its a very nice product and I would recommend it to anyone with a similar need.

This is my first inverter from Power Bright, but I have to say, I'll be a repeat customer. I use this little guy to run an air pump that draws something like 174 Watts, just under the max. And that pump runs for maybe 15 minutes straight to fill up my giant float. Usually in the hot sun. This little engine-that-could has never skipped a beat. I admit I was surprised how hardy this thing is given its tiny footprint. Uploaded a picture of it next to an iPhone 4 for a size comparison (the stock photo looks like a 100 photoshoped to look bigger).

The only negative thing i have to say about it is that the chords that come with it are short and seem a little cheap. But that's a nit since the unit is quality.

I did some research and really liked the size and style of this item. When it arrived, it worked great. It rode around in the car, sometimes in use and sometimes not in use, for 2.5 months. Yesterday I tried to use it and found out that it was completely dead. No fan, no lights, nothing. I don't know what might have caused it to stop--I'd been out of town for a month and the car with the unit was parked in the garage. I'm really disappointed because I liked it up until yesterday. I'm inclined to go back to a Black and Decker unit that we've had for quite a while and used in the other vehicle.

Xantrex Power Inverter - 1800 Watt, Model# XM 1800

I had one of these professionally installed in my boat 4 years ago.

Just this weekend, I replaced it for the 4th time (total of 5 inverters)

The 110volt pass-through, which was one of the features that attracted me to this product keeps failing leaving me with no 110 volt service. Strangely enough, the inverter portion still worked.

While all but one of these replacements was provided under warranty, there was still expense involved in installing the replacements and loss of products that were stored in the refrigerator which stopped working when the inverter died, even when plugged into shore power.

I evaluated the prospects of changing to a different product, but the cost involved in a) buying the replacement, and b) having it installed, as the boat would have to be rewired to support a different product caused me to stay suffering with this one. I have 100% expectations that I will continue to have to replace this unit.

When it works, it works fine, but you never know when it is going to fail.

The tech support at Xantrex stinks. I have called and emailed many times asking for info about WHY this unit keeps failing, never got a response. On a positive note, they never gave me a hard time about replacing it, which leads me to believe that they KNOW what is wrong with it, and don't want that to get out.

Installed this product in my travel trailer and it runs everything I expected. Microwave, coffee maker, TV, ect. and it does it with two 6 volt batteries. Comes with a hard wired remote so you can turn it on and off without going directly to the unit, and monitor battery voltage and unit output.

Before you buy take note that this does not come with a seat, if you want a seat it will cost you another $40. I had bought this simply because for the seat and price. But when it was delivered to my house there was no seat, and some vital screws were missing. After emailing this seller they made me aware that of course there is a seat..at an extra $40 and another week or two for delivery but they had said nothing about the screws and nuts missing from the tire and brakes, so luckily I have a fully running 45cc GroundHog (Tops off at 42MPH) from 2002 and managed to use extra parts from it.

The XG-550 is at the top of their line which isn't much to be said. I followed the manual for set-up and use instructions before going on a ride. At 1/4th throttle the engine makes noise but goes no where, at 1/2 throttle it makes more noise and you might get a couple MPH if your light enough but at full throttle I got a whole 10MPH I will continue breaking this in but more than likely it will be used to scare cats away in the neighborhood.

I've been using this for a few months now off and on, and so far, the welds holding the frame together broke while going down the street. The Frame broke in half. The bolts mounting the parts to the frame, the gas tank, brakes, chrome trim, twist hand throttle, deck, and exhaust have either just fallen off, flew off, or broke. Honestly I must say this is the worst purchase of my life.

Every day or two I would make sure everything was tightened down due to all the pieces falling off the Ped, and onto the neighbors' yard, but they still found away to fall. Also the bolts, screws, and metal they use for this are weak, and have a habit to break on there own. It should be a crime to sell a product that rapidly falls apart while riding, and for the price, you can buy a used one, and a can of WD-40, and you have have a better product. \

I've had a 2002 Blue Bird Engine 45cc (Stock GroundHog) for 9years, still running strong, nothing has broken off, and it cost me half the price I paid for this inferior product by " X-Treme Scooters)I Would absolutley not reccomend this for children due to the spotty "craftsmanship"

I purchased the X-Treme XG-550 scooter as a x-mas gift for my son. I have to agree with the other review that this is a very cheaply made product. Their website hypes it up as the best scooter out on the market and a good quality scooter. Take my advise and do not purchase this scooter. I have always taken very good care of it. We have only used this scooter for maybe two hours and it is falling apart. The rear break fell apart. The carburator cover fell off. We don't even know when or where it fell off, it was just missing after my son rode it to his friends house. The frame has bent which is crazy as they say it is basically indestructable. I am going to order replacement parts and put it back together and sell it. This was the biggest waste of money and the biggest piece of junk that I have ever purchased.

when i got it the frames had scrathes all over the body...when i hit a few bumps( nothing big ) the screws popped out of the plate that you stand on. THe electric starter did not work, the back wheel would rub aganist the brake pad. The worse thing is the company did NOTHING TO FIX ANY OF MY ISSUES...AND HAD TO CALL BACK WAY TO MANY TIMES TO GET ANYTHING..... LIKE I SAID "NEVER AGAIN"!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to figure out how to sent this piece of junk back. The instructions it came with were completely unapplicable to setting this item up and had to hire a friend who's a mechanic to put it together. this gas scooter is lots of fun for me i got it as a birthday gift and is lots of fun putting it together was not to bad but i did have to use my own tools because the tools it came with would not cut the job. the gas cam came un done and i tried very hard to get it back into place but only one screw would stay the electric start works every time but does have a pull star just in case. when you first start it make sure to let it idle and worm up before you go or else it will just make lots of noise. but all in all it is a good scooter

I guess this may have been unintentional but right now, I really didn't need this, all I needed was a car charger with the car cigarette lighter as shown in the picture but well, I now have to be with an item I don't need, disappointed at this but maybe one time will find a way to use it with car or if seller can help out, will appreciate, otherwise not happy because I didn't get what I ordered for in all sincerity and I am all sincere here and not saying anything to spoil reputation of seller. I can't send it back since I have now travelled and already fully opened it and broken all packaging even if that was an option.

When I got the package it was damaged and it was hard to see what was inside. Once I Could see the plugs I found out that only one would fit in any of the items we had and that was my phone, however, My phone is a nokia and the name next to the adapter was motorolla. I don't know when this product was made but it is hard to tell what products this will fit from the packaging and the picture given on this site .

I have an LG Revolution. The only thing I have found as a con to this FM transmitter is that with my cover and extended battery on my phone its hard to get my phone to fit in the adjustable arms that hold the phone in place. That's it! Basically its my fault it doesn't fit, because its made to fit the LG revolution with a normal battery and my phone cover is kind of thick.

I read one of the other reviews. That person said you can't turn it on your off. I DID. Just push the quick set button on top and it turns off. Hold it down for a second or 2 and it turns on. The gooseneck turned in all directions and stayed there for me. It never moved or flopped over. The LG revolution with extended battery is a pretty heavy phone overall so I don't understand why it fell over for other people.

Once I finally found an empty radio station the sound quality was amazing! Better than a regular radio station sounds. I am so glad I bought this!!!! It is exactly what I was looking for (a phone charger/dock that plugs into the cig lighter). I spent the same amount for a dock at a store and all it did was hold my phone up and hung off of my air vent. So for this product to be the same price I find it to be a bonus that it's an FM transmitter and that it doesn't fall over every time I turn my car while driving.

Over all this is a good unit. I use it in two cars. One car the radio antenna is up front and the unit works well, it plays through the speakers with little to no distortion. My other car the the antenna is on the trunk and the signal from the unit is too weak to produce a quality sound. It does fit securely in the lighter socket and holds the phone well. Also I'm somewhat of a neat freak so the gaggle of wires hanging from the device is kinda annoying. So my conclusion is that it well worth the money in the right vehicle.

The price on this item was great, but while the GPS is charging, you cannot view the screen. So if you need the GPS for a long trip, you would need to charge it up before, as you will not be able to view the screen.

SOLAR PI30000X 3000W Power Inverter with Triple Outlet plus Junction Block

When evaluating this product for distribution I beat the crap out of it (and all its brothers), trying to make it fail and blow up. The mfr of this design outdid themselves. This one performs almost flawlessly. I had the mfr change the case work to match their other smaller units and added the terminal block for "permanent" installation, along with a heavy duty remote start cable for customers who want durability in demanding applications (fire trucks, ambulance, police, etc). The industry standard for remote cables is a flimsy plastic phone type connector, notorious for breaking with age.

All the Solar model inverters deliver the full rated power specified. That was one of the conditions of acceptance.

BTW, I don't work for the company who markets them anymore, so there's no vested interest in a positive review here. But I know what it is like when a customer expects to get something of value for their money. These WILL deliver, but you absolutely MUST follow the installation guide explicitly in the manual or they will die.
