T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G Mobile Smartphone (Tangle Free) Retractable Car Charger Adapter

This is a Micro USB charger and it WILL NOT WORK FOR THE HTC AMAZE. I'm returning mine immediately. I didn't even get it out of the box.

This type of charger is NOT compatible with the HTC Amaze. The HTC Amaze requires an ExtMicro USB port. This product is the standard charger that MOST HTC use, but NOT THE AMAZE!!! After contacting the seller about this problem, he literally ARGUED with me telling me it will work just try it.. The port is a completely different shape.. I kept trying to explain that to him but instead he told me to just trash it and he will give me my refund. All I was trying to do was EXCHANGE the charger for the one I need.

The HTC Amaze uses a Micro USB Ext connection that is backwards compatible with Micro USB. The shortfall is the Micro USB will take much longer to charge the phone and will not charge the battery more than 50% if it falls below 50%. I use the OEM charge at home overnight and a standard Micro USB charger at work and in the car with no real issues...yet. Owned for 3 weeks.

the usb is the wrong plug. its a micro usb. this doesnt fit in the htc amaze from any provider.
