I've gone through many car chargers over the last year with my HTC EVO 4G. The problem I kept running into was the metal connection point (male end) would become slightly bent after a few months of use. Then I would have to wiggle it around to get it connected and it would still disconnect.

I have yet to run into the problem since I bought it in December 2011 (It's mid March 2012 now). I also like that the cord is very long. The traditional coiled (telephone type) cords were never long enough for me. This works well although the cord is significantly thinner than any other USB or car charger I've seen. I'm a little worried about getting it pinched in something (like the stick shift in the center console), but I haven't had any issues yet.

If you don't like traditional car chargers, then this one is definitely worth a try.

pulled the "retractable" cord out once. Won't do that again. It's stuck all the way out.

In short you get what you pay for. Cheap price; cheap product.

This charger works only if your phone isn't already low on battery and you don't plan on using it while it charges. After my phone dying several times quickly after using this charger, I had to buy a new one. It is now only used as a back up, since it barely works.

This product came as stated and packaged properly. I have had no problem with the fit and finish of it and the retractor works well. The only problem I encountered was with the fuse. Within 5 minutes it stopped working and upon further inspection, the fuse was blown. The fuse is a smaller diameter than the standard 1/4" American fuses that you find in any auto store so I have a bricked product when the fuse blows. If I can figure out how to get another fuse for it, It would still work.

I plug my iPod touch in to charge it charged fine. When I went to release the cord from my iPod the end came apart. Only one charge and then it fell apart!!! I know it was cheap but I did not realize it was only one charge cheap!!!

I love this kit, I have the car part in my car at all times and since I use my iPod a lot I need to charge it when I am driving.

The charger works fine, plastic's is kinda flimsy so don't bang it around or anything. At first I was worried because I did not think that the adapter fit into my phone model but it worked out in the end. The extra piece that came along with the charger is pretty useless. The plug on this products is a bit too short for the ac adapter hole. I plugged it into the DVD player, but it would come out whenever I moved the DVD player. I had to duct tape it to the DVD player. I needed more coverage than the typical FRS radios provide. I work with people outdoors in hilly terain, reliable communications is vital, so I tried 4 of these SX800R radios from Mot. They where easy to set up and use. The crew trained up in less that 5 minutes. They provided the extended coverage needed and worked reliably. Fast recharge and day long battery life was just what we needed.

The FCC has a quick and pain free way to get the license to operate at the higher power levels of GMRS. Still in use today and very handy.

As a former 2/75th Ranger, I found these radios to be satisfactory for what they are. I only use it when I need to be able to speak to the wife while we're working on projects (no, I don't make her transmit properly over the net, but I do tie it off to her body ...lol), but these SX800R radios allow me to talk to her across a city block (approx 200-300m) in downtown Las Vegas. That means trees, homes, apartments, townhouses and a shopping center in between us... just not as loud and with static/white/pink noise. That's downright impressive for a walkie-talkie "toy" radio. There were no battery failures/issues. Follow the directions and DON'T turn them on for the first 16 hours of charging... a problem for most, I'd bet. The belt clips are fine, no breakages there either. There is a lanyard hole for you to tie them off, so that's a non-issue as well. If I have a gripe, it's not to do with the radio, but the need for an accessory mic and earpiece, as it's a PITA having to hold the radio up like a walkie talkie to receive and transmit because my hands are usually full. Personally, I'll fix that issue with a QUALITY throat-mic (whisper mic for the hooahs) and acoustic ear tube setup... or maybe the secret service hand-mic setup. I digress, but overall, after reading all the reviews of the prior Motorola FRS/GMRS online, I'm satisfied with the SX800R, especially the price... almost free, considering my other options. -RLTW

Just did a A/B comparison between the SX800R (16 mile range)and the Midland GXT-450 (10 or 12 mile range). Neither radio came anywhere near the effective range advertised. The Midland lost communcation after 1/2 of a mile apart in the woods. I then tried both radios on a flat open road. At 2.9 miles apart, neither radio could pick up it's counterpart. It wasn't until we hit the 1.8 mile mark that the Motorola picked up some static from the other Motorola. Still nothing from the Midland. At approx 1.5 miles apart, the motorola worked fine. I gave up with the Midland. The reason I did not give the Motorola a 1 star rating was because I like the weather band feature. Bottom line is, that unless you are in an airplane with no obstructions at all or curvature of the earth to worry about, forget about getting anywhere near the advertised range. A good rule of thumb is, if you can see the other person, then you are in range.

Range is not as good as claimed. Volume needs to be louder. Fully charged batteries last a long time.

I have only used this product once. I was real excited to get this case and I installed it right away. It looked solid and for the most part with a huge exception that the case slides onto the mount that attaches to your bike. It does not lock into the mount as it should. I road my bike two blocks when the case came off of the mount sending my iphone crashing to the ground. Ill never used this again. Going over just a little bumpy road made the case come loose from the mount. I couldn't imagine this working at all on a motorcycle which is what it is advertized for. The only good thing about this case is that when my phone went flying off of my handlebars, it was safely protected in the case even after bouncing a few times.

I received the merchandise a lot faster than I had anticipated and it lives up to its description. I've already recommended the product to a few of my fellow motorcycle friends. The seller was on point with this product.

Actron CP7612 Battery Load Tester

I have two Hondas with their original OEM batteries and I was getting concerned about the batteries' health. It's a pain to get two cars down to the auto parts store for testing (by folks who may not be neutral about the results) so I invested in a Actron CP7612 tester. It's simple to use to test a vehicle's battery and charging system.

As other reviewers have noted, the tester can get very hot if the spring-loaded test switch is held in the "on" position for too long but my unit only got warm during the 10-15 second test specified in the instructions. The product is robust enough for the DIYer, with heavy connecting cables and an acceptably rigid sheet metal enclosure for the test element (heating coil) and meter.

I bought this today at a local auto supply house at a cost of $60.00 plus $3.00 state sales tax. Obviously Amazons' price is much better, but I wanted it NOW to test a battery that had been drawn down to 2 volts. I had charged the battery and brought in back to a steady 12.75 which is where it should be, but I wanted to determine if it would hold a charge. The Actron took just 10 seconds to verify I should be able to trust the battery OK. And not have to buy a new one. So in the end, it saved me $52.00, as the new battery costs $115.00. expensive I know, it is a Harley Davidson motorcycle battery.

Does what it's supposed to do, however, it does not place a 100A load on a battery as the specs suggest -I tested around 45-50A. Great for warming up your hands on a cold day too! Just don't hold the switch for longer than 15 seconds or the element will get WHITE HOT!

I bought this jumper battery because my car was stuck in the garage, and I couldn' jump it with another car.

Even though it said to charge it for 36 hours after purchase, I used it anyway right out of the box, and it started my car twice.

I like the fact that you just leave this thing plugged in all the time and it knows how to keep the charge on the unit, and, as it claims, "intelligently charge" as the label said the algorithm is smart enough not to overcharge.

The LED flashlight isn't very powerful, but guess what, in a pinch this light would probably last for days if not weeks on that huge battery.

The compressor was a real bonus. I used it right away. It is very convenient to check your tires, sine the unit is not tethered to an electrical outlet. It took about a minute and a half for my tire to go from 25 lbs to 35 lbs. And after I did 5 tires, it quit on me and the tubing got hot. I read the instructions and noticed that compressing sucks a lot of power from the battery, and that you shouldn't use the compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time. So I had to wait half an hour for the unit to cool off, and then pumped the other 3 tires on my other car. This thing makes it VERY convenient to pump/check your tires. The built in pressure gauge needs to be angled upwards a little bit to be more user friendly, bc I had to keep tilting the unit to be able to see the pressure value while it was sitting on the ground. The compressor is something I'll be using quite a bit. The jump start feature is nice for emergencies and road trips, and the 12V cigarrete socket and USB socket means this thing can be used as a general purpose battery. It's the biggest battery I have in the house, so it's nice to have it.

I like the nice compact size without comprising the proformance. The air compressor works very

well for about 10mins at a shot(just like the manual will tell you). Also nice is the fact that

using the air compressor does not deplete the battery. Still plenty of juice for a jump! Great

product for the price!!

I bought it for several reasons, I won't go in details but one reason is that I constantly left the lights on in the car. So I have it in my truck all the time.

It is a bit heavy, but I don't mind.

With all the features is a great addition to my tool set.

During the first few day a plastic cleat (to hold the air hose) broke. I wrote to Schumacher and they sent me new ones with no fuss, so I can say that their support is good so far.

This was not at all a good device. The arms that are suppose to slide in and out to fit your style phone are made cheaply. The left one worked fine but when first sliding out the right, all the little plastic teeth that hold the slider in its locked position all brole off, therefore not allowing you to use the device at all.

I am very disappointed with this product. I really did like the idea of the versaile directions it could go in. I guess I have to shop else where.

I needed a way to mount GPS to my Can-Am Spyder motorcycle. I've been hesitant about a purchase fearing the mount would not attach with enough strength to withstand use bouncing around on a motorcycle. I took a gamble and purchased this one.

I have used it on two trips so far and the thing won't come off! I've had to move the adjustable arm (without removing the mount) to see it better in bright sunlight, to make more room for turning, and using it at night. At speeds (with bumps) of 67 mph this works like a charm. I'm not worried that it will come loose and my expensive phone will go with it.
