My charger shipped quite fast, and the packaging was very well made(both store packaging and Xantrex packaging), With all the correct tools it took about 5 or 6 hours to be installed (me and my old man)(with the remote panel) on his 39ft boat, it's working very well for about two weeks, we live in a very damp area and the charger was installed into the engine compartment. We have 3 battery banks (two 175Ah in parallel and one 150Ah battery for each engine, all sealed). It runs silently and the fan speed vary depending on the temperature, but you don't want to install it on the same place that you sleep. It also gets hot, but probably wouldn't burn you if you touch it after 5h of operation. It needs to be installed fairly close to the batteries. And it can't be installed in the same compartment of the batteries due to corrosion issues, but apparently only if you have flooded batteries. The remote panel is quite expensive. I've been using this for several months over the course of a year, in a remote jungle location on a 220VAC (actual about 208VAC) 50Hz generator in Indonesia. Works great for the rainy season in keeping the batteries charged in my off-grid home location.
