The description says it is a 1 million candlepower and it is only 980 lumens. One lumen is 12.57 candlepower, that means this light is only 12,318 candle power. That is a far cry from one million!

If anything, this light is too bright if thats possible. It does get a little hot so keep it away from other items. I have melted some things that were too close for too long.
