I have used several similar products in the past, and this one has the best design I have found. Most other products require you to hand wire the our AC cord to the receptacle. This one has an integrated extension cord, so installation takes seconds. All you need is a hole saw, and your done. The mounting screws are included as well. Well made and durable. Rubber cap provides a nice, watertight seal. At $13, its a steal.

I wanted a male outlet on the outside of some equipment, but I did not want to deal with soldering mains wires & the risks involved. This item is perfect there's a weather resistant recessed male plug on the outside, and a normal female plug on the inside. It's a bit stiff, and the wire angles down, so if you want to mount at the bottom of an enclosure it's a bit tight.

I searched for months for something like this. This is great. Very solidly built.
