I have tow of these and they seem to work fine. You do have to make sure it is making contact

when plugged into your cigarette light jack....some times you think it is working only to find out

it is not making contact to the car battery/alternator.

Yes I recommend....you don't have a lot of choices.

It was the wrong brand for my particular phone but it is a nice charger. The blue light that illuminates the center is not very bright.
