I have used it to charge my phone, laptop and my daughters Kindle Fire. Charged fast and haven't had any problems. This is almost silent compared to the old power to go brand it replaced and doesn't get as hot at all.
I got so sick of traveling and bringing multiple cell phone chargers; one for the car & one for the wall unit. The type of outlet you get in a rental car would always be a surprise and just my luck I'd pack the wrong charger. I love the inverter because whether I bring my USB charger or wall unit charger, I can still get the job done. The big bonus is...I'm not just limited to charger my cell phone but now I can use and charge my laptop, GPS unit, portable/car mini fridge, etc..
