What a great, simple, compact, low cost charger. After having one and loosing it, I knew I had to get another one since the first one worked with no problems for 8+ months. Since then, I ordered 4 nedw ones for use in 2 cars and a replacement (if needed) due to kids loosing them on trips. I use it for a Samsung Galaxy SIII, Nexus 7 tablet and iPhone 4s.

Why pay close to $40 for a Belkin car charger when you can buy this great device (and use your own cables) for a fraction of the price. I use the 2.1A port to charge my iPhone (From 20% to 100% takes about half an hour).

Had a super low cost single output version from some other mfg(mono$) and it would get very very warm when charging my Nokia 920, lets just say it got Hot.

The GTMax did not get hot (still felt cool to me) telling me internal circuitry is probably more efficient and a better design, maybe active circuitry. Although I say this without breaking it open and a taking a look.

New phone doesn't have ability to monitor charging voltage, so I don't have a baseline how much the voltage drops when varying loads are applied. Will be my next step sometime down the road.

Either way, I feel much more comfortable using the GTMax USB car charger adapter mainly because of the heat, or lack of self heating.
