Seems to be a nice cane. I bought it for a Just-in -case reason. I haven't really used it yet, and hope not to .
I ordered this on the recommendation of a friend. It arrived packaged between 2 pieces of thin cardboard. There pole sections were dis assembled and a plastic piece that went between the pole sections was broken. I returned the pole for a refund after contacting the seller. The seller was willing to replace the stick but I was less than impressed with the way they packed it (they defended their packing method) and if the stick was so flimsy that it would break in shipping I can not trust it to not break miles into the woods where it will be used. I inquired about return postage but the seller did not seem too keen on that either so in the end I paid for shipping on an item that arrived broken and was never even used. All in all the whole experience kinda sucked and ended up with postage money down a rat hole.

I am shifting plans, and have not used it yet, but like what I see. I had borrowed a carbon Komperdell set from a friend, and this is lighter and collapses shorter than those hiking poles. I love the cork handle as well and expect it to be very comfortable for a longer hike. I will have this with me on my travels from here on. Should I notice any problems, I will update this review.
