This was great to have on long drives, like 9 hour ones, so you could rest assured knowing that your phone was always going to have power in your truck or car on long trips.

The tip that actually goes into your lighter port came off. It didn't seem to be fastened on tight enough. I had to put it back on and really get it on tight for it to stay. It charges fine though. Might lose connection to the power if not positioned just right, but it does the job.

As you probably figured out already, I purchased this item 2x's. The 2nd time convinced me that the item has a serious flaw in its manufacturing. When it is plugged into the car, it becomes loose around the piece that connects to the charger, hence the connecting piece begins to loosen after awhile eventually resulting in the device breaking down prematurely.

I would only recommend this device with admonishment that the user takes the head off and glue it on before screwing it back on. This measure would insure that it would stay on after continuous unplugging.

The wire is thin on this adapter. My wife used it for about a month before it stopped working. I warned her not to let it retract fast and snap back in, she was careful and did not let that happen, it still only lasted about a month. At that price I knew I wouldn't get great quality and was taking a chance, you might have better luck.
