This item appears to do the job, however it always has a light scent of burning electronics and it makes a buzzing sound when connected to my phone. Like I said, so far so good, but the buzzing sound is kind of annoying and I'm fearful this thing will one day simply stop working.

Got Galaxy Note 2 so got Samsung branded 12 volt charger cord so there would be no issues. Quality item, coiled cord is perfect, and has enough juice to charge slowly while gps nav and other functions are in mobile operation.
