Since the Garmin I ordered comes with a car charger and it can be charged through the supplied USB cable when connected to a computer I personally would not recommend ordering this item and would not do so again. The cables are great but not really required.

Really a well received gift and one that is used on many trips; in past had used Map Quest but this is right on the button.
