Even though it says this is for the 9800 Blackberry torch when connected I got and error message saying it could damage phone because it was not compatible. I sent this item back..

It's been two months, and it's no longer "retractable." It also is very particular so if I move the blackberry in any way, it stops charging. In my mind, it's only for emergencies. I would still try my best to make sure that my phone is fully charged before getting in the car. I only use this if my blackebrry is close to draining after a day of meetings.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

I thought this thing was great! It didn't get tangled up with other cords. I loved that it was retractable. However, after the first week it would no longer charge my Blackberry Torch. Probably because it's not an "official" charger. So, now it's totally useless to me.

Was skeptical at first because it had the description of a charger for the BB torch and motorola, so I was afraid it would mess up the hole for the charger on my phone, but it fits well and works great charging my phone in my car! I like the retractable too that way it keeps it close to where it's being charged.
