This is a great mount and received great reviews, trouble is it will not fit with your Defy XT RW users. It is made for the Defy, not Defy XT. Keep searching elsewhere. Unfortunately it is a difficult item to find for the phone the provider issues. RW users look elsewhere for a mount, Do Not Buy this mount if you have Defy "XT" (Just looking out for my fellow RWer's)

I really can't comment on this since I returned it. I did not notice when I ordered that there was a difference between a DEFY and a DEFY XT and for whatever reason Motorola, while still selling the DEFY XT to several cell phone services, does not make a custom horizontal dock for it.

I bought this Vehicle Dock made by Motorola for my Defy.

Quality is very good, attached easy to the glass. Does not required any size adjustment.

Automatically places my Defy in the "car dock" mode when Defy is placed into the dock, which is useful to answering the phone call while driving.

doesn't fit deft xt 557 from Republic Wireless. I was super excited to get it for a road trip. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit my new phone from RW.

How about a little clarification, Amazon? I also ordered it for my Defy XT from Republic Wireless and the mount is too small. I didn't even KNOW there was a plain Defy since it does not show up on Motorola's website. The mount is a great idea, and I'd love to find one for the Defy XT. This one ain't it.
