Bosch is a well-known maker of good-quality tools. Their competing electric vehicle charger, model Power Max EL-51253, delivers the same 7.2 kW, has an 18 foot cable, and lists for $593.

Easy to install, I did it myself. Call their customer service if you need technical support. Works very well with Nissan leaf, since it is designed for Leaf. One or two hundreds dollars more, but I would say it worth it.

Works as stated. No working issues with my unit. Works with car. Only suggestion to AeroVironment Inc. is to make the locking holes better to feed larger locks to protect the unit (to lock unit to wall).
