Rapid Car Charger (CLA) for LG Cosmos VN250

LG uses a special line in voltage (5.1V) on the USB port.

This is a "universal" charger, which puts out 5 volts, so the phone says that it is the incorrect cable. it also will only charge it to 80-90 percent of a full charge

This vehicle charger DOES charge my phone, BUT:

1. I have to play with the connection to get it to start charging and ...

2. When it IS charging, the phone displays a message asking me whether I'm sure it's plugged in correctly and also whether I'm sure this is the correct cable for the phone.

So, it works, but it's just a wee bit scary. (On the other hand, the price was certainly right!)

This product is certainly worth the money. I was a little worried because it was almost TOO cheap, but it does work.

The only issue that I've had with this charger is that it takes a little wiggling to get it into the lighter properly. The red light on the charger comes on when it is in all the way, though. Occasionally I have to wiggle the phone if I've pulled on the wire, but nothing ridiculous. The phone does take a charge and seems to do so quicker than on my regular home charger.

Good charger for LG Cosmos cell phone. I originally tried to use an older charger with a connector adapter (mini to micro USB), however, the phone would not charge. It knew the difference and actually displays a message to this effect. This charger works fine and is much lower in price than the one sold by Verizon wireless.
