The home charger did not work at all and the car charger worked every once in a while. When I plugged the home charger into my GPS, the screen became fuzzy (like a TV does when it does not have signal) so I am hoping it did not damage it...

I have only used the car charger and it is very good and works well. The cord is a little short so if you need a long cord more tha 16" then you need a different manufacturer.
