So be aware the money you are thinking you are saving maybe costing you big time. You should also know that for marine batteries Otima is strongly reccomending the use of there $200 charger to keep them charged properly.

I have four of these batteries in service now and they all have performed better than I expected. One is in an old Ford diesel tractor which originally had a very large flooded cell battery in it. I put in a standard size Optima about six years ago and it still cranks it fine.

The last two I bought from Amazon had a rebate from Optima as well as a price I couldn't beat. I think they're well worth the high initial cost.

I purchased this battery because of installing a winch on my Jeep. I needed something with 650CCA or higher rating, and this battery is an 800CCA.

It not only starts the Jeep much easier than a lead-acid battery, but it has a quick recovery time after winching. Highly reccomendable.

Comes with 4 different types of mounting bases, so it will virtually fit in any vehicle, and with the side terminals, it made attaching the winch cables an easy job.

This thing is TOUGH! Pretty stylish too, but maybe unnecessary since nobody is looking under the hood very often (hopefully)? It say hooked up to my car in hot, humid weather for over a month, stationary. I came back and the car rusted a lot more, it had low tire pressure so I thought the battery might be dead. It fired right up without even the slightest hint of a low charge! My car is old, and it has problems, but it sure is nice to know that the battery won't be one of them anymore! Love this thing. Pretty expensive, but if you want something reliable then GET THIS!!
