Retractable Car Charger for T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide

Charges my MyTouch 3G Slide very well, and the retractable cable keeps my glovebox a little cleaner when I'm storing it.

Been using this for a few days during my commute to/from work. Charges well, and the retractable cord definitely helps decrease clutter. The cord length is adjustable, and a push button will retract the whole thing. One con: the cigarette lighter end gets much hotter than previous car chargers I've used for other phones. I have no idea if this is normal, but well, so far it's not caused problems. Great price too.

It gets hot, smokes and I took it out of the car because I was afraid it would start a fire. I am planning to return it and ask for a refund. I plugged it in twice to be sure that I was not mistaken. The second time, as was the first time, it got hot, started smoking and I pulled it out.

Charger will not charge phone unless it is powered off & even then it is EXTREMELY slow to charge. This item is not recommended AT ALL. Customer service was outstanding though & was happy to fix the issue for me (i.e. refund).
