ditch the cigarette lighter power plug for sirius radios. I can't believe this isnt included in the kit. Serious oversight on part of sirius ONYX or similar kits. If you want a clean install, (who doesn't) that does not have wires upon wires running in tandem from your dash to your dock, then you need this!

You can try to adapt the cigarette lighter plug that comes with the radio, but you must keep all the capacitors and electronic gadgetry intact and that provved to be too much of a PITA. So buy this. You will be happy you did.

I do not have to move all the connectors from car to car to motorcycle. I only move the radio head.

Very easy to use and install simply connnect one wire (red) to an accessory in the dash fuse box and the other (black) to a piece of metal under the dash (ground). Worked perfectly for my Onyx and left everything looking clean/professional.

The only problem with this item is the red light that indicates the power is on does not turn off. So if you hard wire it you need to install a switch so you don't drain the battery. Besides that great product.
