At the back is a microusb socket where you plug in your own charger, and when the phone is inserted it goes onto an accurately positioned microusb plug, the fit is just right, not too tight, not too loose. This would be ideal for a bedside table perhaps using "car dashboard" mode.

The only downside to this dock is that you can't access the headphone socket when phone is docked, otherwise it'd be five stars.

this is also compatible with the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide, and if it's slid open you can access the headphone socket
