This thing is cheap plastic, and although Droid X was listed as a compatible phone, the side completely blocks the phone's charger port. So I just broke off the little bottom support legs, so I could position the phone lower and have the charger port exposed. The sides grip the phone just fine on their own. This holster works fine, allows my phone to become my car stereo and navigation system, and provides a value beyond what I paid.

This item worked great. It transmitted through my radio very clear and crisp. I have a Droid X and when my phone is put in the holder it blocks my charger port. I broke off the two legs so I could slide my phone down enough to be plugged in and the holder still holds my phone very snug.

The positions of the USB connector and the headphone jack are completely unsuitable for Atrix. Besides the holder pads press on volume controls making the product unusable.

his could have a better transmitter and the mount needs to open up wider, if you have a galaxy or LG optimus or one of the new wider phones it will fit with out a case and it is still a slight force fit. what I mean is when it is open to its widest position you have to wedge it in.
