Just got my new phone and wanted to have the ability to charge in my car. Well I got about 4 charges out of this unit and it just stopped working. I was so bummed too because I like the way it looks and having two ports, I thought, was a plus. Don't buy it. Now, I can't say anything about their return policy as I did not attempt to return it.
I am very displeased in the performance of the GTMax Metallic Silver 2-Port USB Car Charger Adapter. I only used it a few times, and the last time I plugged it in, it did not work. It did not even show a power light. It had a burnt smell the last time I used it when it worked, and that time was when it died, I believe. I thought it would be a good deal, but it ended up not working right.

This item has two USB ports, with different current ratings. It is very useful, but some care is needed so as not to plug a high-current device into the lower rated port.

This is such a great product, I bought two of them. Very inexpensive and our friend bought one and paid loads more for it. My husband and I both have IPhone 5's and we love the phone, bummed they changed the plug so we had to find another charger for the car and I found this one. I believe I can use this for my Kindle Fire as well, haven't tried it yet but this is handy!
