Got this charger to be able to use the gps on my ipad while traveling. This charger does exactly what its maker say it will do. Do not confuse this one with the low powered chargers meant for ipods and iphones. This one will charge your ipad and keep it charged. This is the one to have as a backup charger in your car or boat.

Too big, difficult to fit into lighter and have a really strong red led when plugged.

Really cheap look. Bad finishing.

But works...

Bought this a couple years ago. Not worth the purchase. It stopped working before I could use it more than a few times. Tossed it and bought another one from a local store that is still working after two years.

It quickly charged devices as long as only one device was plugged in at a time. Couldn't seem to handle my iPod and my Mifi at the same time.

Bought this because it claims to charge 2 ipads, one would assume simultaneously.

Tried charging 2 ipads on a vacation trip. Smoked itself after about an hour. Got very hot.

Even though it has its own 3 amp fuse, which didn't blow.

Try a different one, and keep an eye on it that's a lot of voltage.
