YTX7L-BS Motorcycle Battery for HONDA NX250 250CC 88-'90

This battery was bought to replace a very difficult to find battery for a 250 Kawasaki Ninja and it worked perfectly. It was not the cheapest one I saw but it wasn't the most expensive either. It looks new and worked great right out of the box.

This battery fits the enclosure of my 1990 Honda NX-250 perfectly. It arrived undamaged and fully charged via USPS mail. The only reason I did not rate the battery as five stars is that there is a portion of the battery case molding near the negative terminal that does not permit the motorcycle battery "hold down clamp" to be positioned absolutely perfectly at a 90 degree angle to the battery case. However, the "hold down clamp" does secure the battery adequately even though the clamp cannot be fully engaged between the tabs at the bolt hole.

I have had the battery only a couple weeks, so I cannot yet report on its long-term reliability; but it appears to be well constructed, and it cranks the engine with vigor. I selected the battery because of positive customer ratings and the relatively low price, along with the seller's product warranty. I would make the same purchase again; and assuming the battery lives up to my expectation of several years of service, I would highly recommend it to others. If I could find a battery from this manufacturer that would fit my 1981 Honda CM-200T, I would order one for it as well.

You expect all of these batteries to be foreign made. This one seems to be of good quality, and the purveyor had a very reasonable price.
