This is great and it cost a lot more but performs like a million dollars. Old gauges work by inserting in the value stem, the little plastic pops out and if your over 40 you need to use your bi-focals to read the gauge. This new gauge works by inserting in the valve stem and it will automatically read the tire pressure without turning it on. It is very accurate. Next if you hold the set button for 3 seconds you can choose PSI or the other then press set. A tire screen will illuminate front and back. there are 2 arrows below the set button which increase and decease your amount you want to fill in your tires. EX 35.5 front 35.5 back. It will beep at you. If you over inflate, this is what I love the back on it has a release value and it will stop at the desired setting. Leaving your tires inflated to your perfect setting. Time is always lost of money and this is a real product winner. I almost forgot to mention, I love the large LED readout, no bi -focals required.

I am looking for a metal tip tire gauge for years. This Craftman product is good and easy to use. Its lighted display is helpful in a dark environment and its bleeding valve makes keeping the ideal tire pressure easy when it is over inflated.

By far, one of my most beloved automotive tools. Built-in LED light and a very easy to read LCD screen.

One particular feature that I am extremely fond of is that if the tires are over-inflated, excess pressure can be released by a push of a button. AWESOME!
