So far, it seems to work ok. I like the straight on plug for the unit. The original one had a 90 degree bend in, and that is where it broke.

This was a dc charger for the Magellan GPS system. The end of the cord broke off within a dozen uses and here I am again looking for ANOTHER cable for this device, money wasted here move on.

Worked great for a while the poof no more. Am disappointed that it didn't work longer. So now what! Gave it 3 stars for working for a month!

This charger does the job. The only drawback is the screen surges a little when it is plugged in. Nothing that affects the ability of the GPS unit.

I read earlier comments that the cord is short. It is short but it is also wound. I found that I just needed to stretch the cord to the length I needed and didn't have any problems. The cord is very long when stretched out so no one should have any problems.
