This product works and it matches the description given. It won't drain your car battery if you don't leave it plugged in when you aren't driving. That is just common sense though, because any auto accessory should be unplugged when you aren't driving. Not doing so can cause a fire (hey, its actually happened).
It charges my phone fast, doesn't hurt my car, and it was cheap.
I like it.

I purchased this charger last summer and it worked fine for about 6 months and now it either won't connect at all to charge of I have to fidget with it to find a spot in the power port where the red light might come on. I'm buying a new one today...it definitely won't be this one.
