We got this for my wife's iPhone 4S. Insertion was difficult from the beginning, and now that she's been using it, connecting other cables (such as the standard Apple cable) to the phone is touchy and unreliable. It's not impossible to charge it, but it's become very difficult; we're throwing this cable away so it doesn't damage any other devices. It's a shame, as the six-foot length is nice and the color is distinctive and easy to keep track of.

This product appears to be a genuine original equipment Blackberry car charger. It has the Blackberry name and logo on it. The plate on the bottom of the cigarette lighter plug of the unit states that the electric output is 5 volts, 500mA (500 milliamperes or .5 ampere). The plate on the wall charger packaged with a new Blackberry 8800 states that the wall charger output is 5 volts, .75 ampere. Thus, it appears that the car charger produces two thirds the electrical charge produced by the wall charger (.5 vs. .75 amp.)

This car charger is used with a Blackberry 8800 and has performed admirably and without any problems. It costs a fraction of the price charged by AT&T ($29.99), apparently for the same product.

This works great with my wife's Blackberry Pearl. Now that she has Bluetooth in her car, she really needed a way to keep the phone charged while on the road. This does the job as expected.

The car charger is not included and the product can't be used in a car. The battery life is 6 hours, at maximum, not the advertised 48 hours and that is a very big difference.

The product does not answer incoming calls, which means that it is realistically impossible to listen to what is happening. The motion detiction feature works with a delay of 10 to 15 minutes which is an unacceptable delay, because by that time the situation is over and the burgulars are long gone.

The positioning system works very accurately.

This was my second attempt to purchase a tracker for my kids car, unfortunately like the cheaper one I first ordered this more expensive one didnt work, after a day of use it failed to get an accurate GPS lock, in fact it had the tracker positioned just south of Italy, so only about 3000 miles out. the product shown is not the same as the product I received.

I wanted to get this product for my iPod touch so that I don't have to turn on a computer every time my iPod needs to be charged. I was going to pay $20 separately for a wall charger and car charger at a store, until I found this on Amazon. As is described, the wall plug and the car adapter have USB docks in them. iPods aren't the only things that these things can recharge, though. I plugged in my phone via USB and it worked as I expected. This is a nice feature because it will save me from having to buy a new car adapter for every new phone I get, so long as I have a USB cable for said phone, that is. It'll even recharge my Xbox 360 wireless controller! Sometimes I need to recharge my Xbox 360 controller but the Xbox 360 is annoyingly loud, turned on, when you're not using it. Such a pleasant capability!

Aside from the wall plug and car adapter, the USB data cable works just as well for syncing iPods as the one that comes with them. The fact that the cord is retractable is very convenient because it eliminates any tangling of other cords and it's easy to just slip in your pocket in case you're planning on recharging your iPod somewhere like at school. It isn't as long as the one that came with my iPod, but it certainly is nice to have because sometimes I need to recharge my iPod with my MacBook, but have a hard time bringing that long messy cord that comes with the iPod.

All in all, the wall plug, the car adapter, and the retractable USB data cables defeat messiness and will save you money on extra junk that you think you may need. It's a must own for ANYONE who needs to charge a device via USB. Did I mention that it'll even recharge Xbox 360 or PS3 wireless controllers? Whether it's an iPod, a phone, a game controller, or whatever that needs to be recharged via USB, I highly recommend this product to anyone.

From what I've experienced, the other reviewers are correct: this product is either not designed to charge an iPhone 3G from a wall outlet (the most likely case since the Firewire pinouts were removed for the 3G), or else has such quality control problems that only a minority of wall units sold (judging from the reviews) actually work. The presentation on my iPhone is that the status icon on the top of the iPhone switches to the charging icon, and the full screen image with the green battery bar graph appears. But the unit doesn't really charge. And when you try to "slide to unlock" when connected to the wall charger, the arrow button never slides, and you cannot get to the Home screen (or the Enter Passcode screen if you have a passcode).

There are several online reports to the effect that several generic third-party iPod/iPhone chargers no longer work with the iPhone 3G. That seems to be true here, despite the claims to 3G-compatibilty.

The USB cable should work fine, though you can purchase it very cheaply by itself. I've not tried the car charger, and honestly wasn't in a big hurry to do so since I've traditionally had bad experiences with such devices (although I must admit that today's rechargeable batteries are much more resilient than the NiCads and lead acid gel contraptions that us greybeards started out with in the 1980s).

So your experience may be better, and it's not a major purchase, but since it's claimed that this is iPhone 3G compatible, I'm giving it one star and suggesting you look elsewhere.

This small screwdriver comes with a right angle attachment for hard to reach places. Great for annoying little jobs where you never have a short enough screwdriver or a right angle manual tool takes forever to use. The included case keeps everything together. One complaint: the direction switch always seems to get bumped off the desired position. Also, the magnetic socket is so strong that the bits are sometimes difficult to remove. All in all, a good tool for the money.

This very small driver packs a lot of power. I used it to drive 1-1/2" screws into old, dried, very hard wood. It did the job admirably and the torque didn't seem to diminish at all during the job (12 screws). I didn't need the right angle attachment for this job, but I did attach it and play with it a little and I know it will be very handy when I have to drive screws in a tight place. This is probably not a tool a professional construction person would choose, but it's great for home owners and do-it-yourself types.

Have been using for about 6 months. Battery life is incredible. Love the little LED light. I am constantly hitting my finger up against the switch that controls the direction of the rotation. Unit turned off after 5 seconds. Internal battery would not charge. Manual impossible to understand. Ended up getting a Vacron for $300. After looking at other dashboard cameras, it appears that you won't get anything reliable until you get into the $300 range. The $29-$59 dashboard cameras all appear to be junk. Some people apparently get them working, but the vast number of bad reviews on most of them should have been a warning.

Suggest getting dashboard cameras that record in H.264 rather than AVI. AVI is "freeware" whereas for H.264, the manufacturer had to pay for that software which suggests that the rest of the system is equally high quality. If you don't really need a dashboard camera, any of them will work, but if you really want one you can depend on, you'll have to step up...

Just got it today. So far its working great. It took a little to learn the functions, nothing difficult. At the 640 setting the picture is clear, can read plate numbers. So far I'm impressed. I'm using a 2gig card, and am recording a total of 16 min in loop mode. I've ordered a larger card. So far I'm very happy, I will update after more testing. Thus far I would give the pic a 8, the sound a 6, and the mount a 5. At this point I would recomend this to a friend.

Like some of the other reviewers, I still use my old Kyocera flip phone because it does what I want it makes and receives phone calls and that is all I need. It came with an AC charger but I had never gotten around to getting a 12 volt car charger for it. The battery for my phone had started to die a little more prematurely with time so I purchased this to carry in my truck in case the battery got low or died while on the road. I was extremely pleased with the price and the quality of this charger. Most of you wouldn't even have a need for a charger like this because my phone is a dinosaur. I had gotten the Guide 10 plus Adventure kit. I needed the adapter and a set of AAA to run my portable speakers for backpacking. The Goal Zero website says that the adapter comes with the AAA batteries. I took the chance that this set of AAA batteries had the adapter. When I got the order, the adapter was there, and I was happy. Adapter and AAA batteries fit perfectly.

This is more of an FYI since I just got the product and have been wondering for the longest time if it had the insert/adapter. At first I was kinda skeptical after reading all the reviews. Some came with an Insert/Adapter, most didn't. But after reading Clint's assurance that the products ordered through Amazon will come with the Insert/adapter, I decided to risk it. And as the title says, mine came with an insert/adapter. I'll post a pic of it later.

And oh, I ordered it directly from Amazon because if you'll notice from the product description, there is no mention of the inclusion of an insert/adapter. So assuming you buy it from a third party seller, they could just send you the old version WITHOUT the insert/adapter and they won't be liable for misrepresentation. I specifically ordered it from Amazon since there was a guarantee from Clint (Goal Zero Manufacturer) that if we (the customer/s) don't get the insert, we could just call him at the number he provided and ask for it, free of charge. Good thing I didn't have to go through all that hassle.

I bought this item because I use to have the older one that slots on top of the photo ipods (pre-video bottom slots). I loved it even though it broke and had to purchase a new one. Eventually my Ipod needed to be replaced so I purchased one of the video Ipods. Trusting Griffin iTrips I bought this despite bad feedback it already had. After having it now for a few months, I have hated it from day one. No matter what stations I try I always get static. I live about an hour away from Atlanta, so there really should be no reason for this. Ive tried every single radio station possible with no luck. The second thing that I hate about this iTrip is that there is no way to boost the signal level with the Ipods volume. You can only use your car volume to control it. This is because of some change with these newer ipods and only having the slot on the bottom for syncing and such. SO on top of getting static on all stations there is no way to boost the sound or level to try and "drown out" the static. My suggestion, find a way to plug directly into your system, the new iTrips are all horrible.

I loved the original iTrip from Griffin, and thought I would love this one as well. It is a great product, and is extremely easy to use, however, unlike the original iTrip, you cannot access the clearest channel, which for me was 87.9. The new version only goes down to station 88.1. I did find one channel that plays very nicely, however, and the iTrip fits on my ipod touch perfectly, even with a plastic cover.

I bought this product, used it twice, and when I tried to play my iPod in my car on the third use, it stopped responding. I've tried looking everywhere for troubleshooting tips and solutions but as far as I can see, I was sent a defective FM transmitter. When it DID work, I had a hard time finding a station and when I finally did, I couldn't move my iPod more than a foot away from the radio. I would not suggest buying this.
