Portable Solar Power USB Battery Charger for MP3 Phone Black
Yuasa YUAM6212B YT12B-BS Battery
From what I hear when they switched to EFI from carbs the battery got smaller to make room for the ECU. So every Bonnie, Scrambler, and Thruxton from 2009,2010 and possibly 2011 have this (smaller) battery YT12B-BS.
I hear that they increased the size on the 2012 and some of the 2011... to the standard 12-BS instead of the 12B-BS.
Almost every website (i'm looking at you amazon!)has this info wrong and assumes that '09,'10 have the same battery as previous years and the current year. Including the Yuasa US website!!!Initially thought that I would not know what to do with adding the acid, but it was really easy. The battery came dry and all you have to do is follow instructions to add the acid. It was very safe to perform and after sealing it I waited a few minutes and installed the battery right away. I have a 2004 Yamaha FZ 6 and it started on my first try. Excellent product and I'm pleased with the purchase.

The speaker in the left side came not installed. The same speaker quit working about two minutes into the very first time I used it.So I bought this as a first helmet and I'm liking it. I sized my head as a large, but as a large this helmet fits pretty tight because of the padding. So I would order a size up or maybe wear it in. The paint job on it looks pretty bad ass and it doesn't looks like its going to peel off anytime soon. The only flaws with this helmet is that the visor fog up and vents don't work as well as they should. But for the money this is a great helmet.Want VCAN Blinc 136 Full Face Helmet with Dark Angel Graphics (Flat Black, Medium) Discount?
this is a excellent product but beware, i already owned a size large helmet from hjc and it fit perfectly.so i ordered this "VCAN" helmet also as a large and it feels like a small. i thought if i wore it for a couple weeks i could "break it in" and the only thing thats breaking feels like my forehead in the helmet (very constricting). Other then the size issue i had a great experience with the helmet and it is very stylish. I ride a honda shadow 750 with straight pipes, so i have to have the speakers at full volume for me to hear the music over the sound of the bike. phone calls are much quieter but if you can pull over and talk then it works great! its a shame i have to stick with my hjc for the long rides :/
Pulse Tech Battery Maintenance System 100X010
In a world where things claim to "work better" or "make things last longer"this is the rare exception where the product actually does what it says and does it well. These results can be fully verified though empirical testing. Used regularly you should expect to easily get 6-10 years out of a battery rather than the often normal 2-4 years. This will quickly pay for the charger. I cycle it through all our batteries (at home) 3 or 4 times a year to keep them charged, de-sulfated and ultimately lasting longer. If you have access to a battery conductance tester (found in large automotive shops) which tests batteries for capacity and cranking amps, you can test a battery and then go use this pulse tech charger. You can then measure how it restores the battery to a previous higher capacity. It will often bring back a really weak battery to fully operation status allowing you to get a couple more years of use out of it. Its rare that I am able to recommend a product so hardily, but it works well and you will be happy with not having to buy replacement batteries for your equipment so often. If you have questions feel free to give me a shout at C23Flyboy@hotmail.com
-ScottI've used this product for several years now and it's the best charger I've ever owned. I originally bought it to maintain my motorcycle battery. I use my motorcycle mostly for track days now so I don't ride it as often as when I commuted on it. Because of this, I had to replace a very expensive AGM battery. Rather than having to replace expensive batteries, I put my bike on a trickle chager. Originally I tried to get away with a cheaper type. I used a battery tender junior (which I bought from amazon). It died after a day of use. I figured it was defective and I had it replaced. It also died. Given the rock solid ratings and review, I figured, I must have done something wrong. I talked to their customer service and on my 3rd try on that charger had it "maintain" a new battery with a full charge. It also died. I gave up after that and switched to this charger.
This charger has worked flawlessly over the past few years. The indicator lights give me all the information I need regarding the health of my battery. It doesn't overcharge the battery or reduce battery life. I now use it also on my deep cycle batteries on my boat (3 of them). I basically cycle this charger and move it from battery to battery every few weeks. I've used this thing non-stop for at least 2-3 years now. It is also water-resistant (proof?), and I have no problem leaving charging my boat even if it's raining outside. It also doesn't get hot at all like many other chargers.
The only drawback to this unit is is $100 bucks vs. $25 for other chargers. However, I personally believe it's well worth the money.

I purchased the Pulse Tech charger after much online research into this technology and even some discussions with the company since they are local to my area in N. Texas. What I think I discovered from my research is that the pulse technology is best suited for new batteries rather than reclaiming old and sulfated batteries. This technology seems to prevent the sulfate from forming on the plates. I installed the charger/maintainer on a brand new 100 Ah marine battery. On start-up, it showed 50% charge level and began it's charging/pulsing cycle. The maximum charge current is 2.5 amps, so it took 24 hours for the battery to reach 100% charge. At 100% the Pulse Tech charger switched to maintenance mode. That consists of no charge current, but the anti-sulfation pulses remain active.As with any device of this type, it can only get glowing reviews if it works. With the promise of pulse charging extending the life of batteries for 4-6 years and beyond. This review will be very stale by the time I can report back on the devices complete success. However, as a battery low-current maintainer with high tech properties, It seems to be a well-made and easy to use device. I give it 4-stars for now with the possibility of getting that extra star when it shows it's usefulness 4 to 5 years hence. Because of it's ease of use, great function, and feedback via lights, I still rate it highly and can cautiously recommend it to others. I do recommend it as an addition to new batteries or ones that are still performing near 100%. Preventing sulfation seems to be a better solution than removing it after the fact.

I bought this charger as I have 2 large deep cycle batteries in my boat for my trolling motor that would not take a charge. I was reading up on the web about how to make a battery desulfator when I came across this charger. I figured for about 20 bucks more than it would cost to make a desulfator I could just buy this and save myself the time. My boat batteries would not hold beyond 50% capacity. Each battery tested as bad. After topping off the water in each battery this is my results:72 hours on charge bad battery light activated. Unplugged charger moved to battery 2 after 72 hours charger indicated 100% charged. Charger moved back to battery 1. After 72 hours charger indicated 100% charged. I removed charger and used load tester on trolling motor. Displaying 75% capacity. allowed to sit for 1 week. Each battery testing at 12.18vdc load test at 75% capacity. Going to place back on charger and see if it will restore remainder of capacity.
(UPDATE:)
After about a Month of moving the charger back and forth from battery to battery the load tester now indicates 100%. Now I gotta get my butt on the water and time the longevity of the batteries.
This thing has saved me a few hundred bucks in trolling motor batteries. Of course they will never be as good as brand new but I have definitely found my new charger. I plan to buy 2 more use as a 3 bank charger for all my batteries.
I think this is well worth the money oh and buy a set of pigtails for each battery it's easier that way.
SuperTooth Buddy Bluetooth Visor Speakerphone Car kit-Black
=============
This is a simple device and easy to use, but sometimes the Bluetooth stays connected through-out the house, while my truck is in the driveway. This is the main reason I give this 4-stars. Charging port is under the device and if you are running low, it is hard to keep it mounted while stuffing the charging cord in between the device and the sun-visor. That is a minor reason why I also give it 4-stars. [See Update at bottom, recently lowered to 3-stars]
What's in the box:
====================
1. SuperTooth Buddy bluetooth device
2. Car charger that uses mini-USB
3. Magnetic clip that allows you to use the device with the sun-visor closed or open
What I like about this:
========================
1. Simple to setup and use; it gets the job done!
2. I press the green button and I can do voice-dialing the same way as I do with just my phone.
3. Seems like a pretty good battery charge, seeing how I never turn it off... probably 2-3 weeks worth, but I do not make lenghty calls in my car
4. Good price
5. Good volume, nice and loud
6. Callers report my voice sounds clear, though they can tell I'm on a speakerphone
7. Seems to work well in this Texas heat, which probably exceeds 120degrees inside the car in July/August, my Motorola T-325 did not. [See Update!!]
What I don't like about this:
=============================
1. No caller id, it only rings or you have to look at your phone display for $20 more, the Jabra Cruiser2 and Motorola T-325 announces the caller's name!
2. Bluetooth signal is almost too strong. I've parked my car in the driveway and sometimes it stays connected. I kid you not, but I take aluminum foil and just wrap it around my phone when I come home and usually the bluetooth signal drops and it disconnects.
Why don't I just turn off bluetooth on my phone?? Well, more times than not, every time I turn off Bluetooth on the phone, I forget to turn it back on and usually it is when I am driving and the phone is not easily accessible. You don't want to go around digging for your phone, that's why you get a Bluetooth speakerphone like this :).
Why don't I just turn off the actual device?? Well, more times than not, every time I turn off the device, I forget to turn it on, and usually it's when someone calls me and only my phone rings, etc. At this point it is too late to turn it on and hope it pairs in time AND answer the call.
So my aluminum foil method is silly but it works. Just wrap it for a few minutes when you come home and it seems to stay disconnected. The next time you get in your car, it will auto-pair.
3. One time with my phone in a backpack in the back seat, it took almost 10 minutes after I went over a speed bump before it auto-paired. *Most* of the times, it pairs within a minute of getting to my car. I'll strike this as a freak occurrence and update this review later if it reoccurs.
4. You have to hold the power button for a full 10 seconds before it turns off, but then again, I rarely turn it off, for reasons mentioned above
5. The charging port is on the bottom of the device, not on the side, this makes it very difficult to charge while mounted on the sun visor or on the clip.
How does it compare to other devices I've used?
================================================
1. I've owned two of the Motorola T-325 and that device has *EVERY* feature I have ever wanted, from caller-id-NAME-announce, auto on/off, automatic low battery warning, long battery life, easy to charge while mounted on the sun-visor, wonderful wonderful device BUT POOR RELIABILITY. One flat out broke and the second one seems to overheat in Texas, it will connect and disconnect 10 times while driving. Both occurred outside the warranty period. If the Motorola T-325 was more reliable I'd still be using it. Motorola has a newer version called the Roadster, but I'm seeing the same reliability issues in the reviews.
How does it compare to other devices I've researched?
=======================================================
1. For about $20 more, the Jabra Cruiser2 seems to match the Motorola T-325 that I used to love, but the Cruiser2 does not have perfect reviews and no auto on/off. The Cruiser2 does do caller-id-NAME-announce though. If the reviews were more consistently better, I would've considered the Cruiser2.
2. The Motorola Roadster is a little more, but I am hesitant because of my T-325 reliability issues also, a lot of 1-star reviews...
3. The Jabra Freeway is brand new, but 3 times the price! If the Jabra Freeway drops in price by 60% I would consider it it also has caller-id-NAME-announce, auto on/off, etc. Does not have exactly perfect reviews.
So until the next perfect device comes out with really good reviews, I decided to save money and get the SuperTooth Buddy. In the pursuit of hands-free, it gets the job done, minus some of the nice frills of more expensive units out there.
[Update 9-6-2011]
I have now returned my SuperTooth Buddy for several reasons:
A. The first time I needed to charge it, I charged it for several hours until the "halo" light turned green. The next day I used it fine. The second day, it would not turn on at all. I charged it up again and it seemed to work fine for a few days....
B. With my phone in the cupholder, it did not auto-pair for another 10 minutes, this has now occurred 3 times. Sure, I can turn the unit on/off and or toggle my bluetooth and make it pair, but I shouldn't have to, it should automatically pair when in range. For battery-savings, perhaps *MY* phone defaults to checking every 10 minutes if it doesn't find a device for a long while, or it could be the SuperTooth, who knows, but other devices like the T-325 (and BlueAnt S4 and Jabra Freeway) automatically turns itself off and on, so this was never an issue before.
C. I decided to return it when it wouldn't turn on again 2 more times. The second time it happened, it worked on the way home after a short trip doing errands. The third time, I got a little Sherlock idea, and put the device on the a/c vent to cool it off (even though it was not too hot to touch). After just a couple of minutes, the device then turned on and auto-paired and worked fine since. So my assumption is that if it gets too hot in your car, that the device won't power on. (You can test if it is on by hitting the "Up" volume button, when it reaches max volume level, you should always hear a beep, regardless of being paired. Holding down the power button should also beep on/off, too. In my cases, the device would never turn on or beep, etc.)
Final Parting Summary:
=======================
With the 30-day warranty period almost over, I decided I needed to return it ASAP given the reliability issues I've seen related to Texas Heat so far. Too much finagling involved to make it work; things should just work out of the box. I still think 3-stars is fair because those of you in a much milder climate, might have great luck with this. When it works (and turns on) it is a pretty decent no frills bluetooth speakerphone, especially for the price. Like another review mentions, if you're sitting on your couch one day and go to use your phone and hear nothing, it is probably because the bluetooth is still connected in your car! hehehe. This is probably why the other manufacturers added *motion-sensing* auto on/off...I bought the Supertooth Buddy for my Mother in law, as I needed something easy to set up, and operate without too many bells and whistles, and the Supertooth Buddy is it! Personally I am getting tired of the technical "arms race" with electronic devices. The Buddy does it's job well without having to jump through hoops. I read the manual, explained it to my wife, and she set it up for her Mother, no problems! To me that is the true test, as my wife isn't a gear head. If she can set it up, and my Mother in law can work it, then it passes the test. It is plenty loud enough for conversations, and the magnetic visor clip allows the Buddy to be swapped from one side of the visor to the other in an instant if one needs to change the visor position. A great bluetooth device for those of us who just want something simple that works. It comes with a car charger and USB to Mini USB cable to charge the unit. It does not come with a home charger, though one can use the USB cable to charge it using your USB port on your computer. Standby time is 1000 hours, so the lack of a home charger shouldn't be an issue.

Was doubtful when I ordered this item as most of the other hands free car kits I have used were more expensive. I was very surprised that this speakerphone is hands down the best I've used so far. It beats my Motorola, Jabra and LG in sound quality (both incoming and outgoing) and is very easy to set up and use. My other speakerphones all died after only a few months in the Texas heat. So far, so good on this model. Not a bunch of extras on this unit, but I really just wanted a hands free that I could understand the conversation clearly and that I didn't sound like I was talking in a coffee can. This is the unit. If you are looking for a good basic hands free speakerphone with excellent sound quality and ease of use, this is it.Want SuperTooth Buddy Bluetooth Visor Speakerphone Car kit-Black Discount?
I was fed up using bluetooth headsets with my iPhone. Everytime I seemed to want to use it, they were either not paired properly, battery dead or the person on the other end could not hear me properly.So, I was looking for a hands free car kit. A full integrated one for my Audi A4 was about $400+. Too much.
So after some investigating, I came across this alternative.
What I really like about it, is that it just works. I charged it up using a USB mains adapter, 3 weeks ago, I paired it up with my iPhone (that took about 1 minute) and then clipped it onto my visor. I have not had to charge it since.
Whenever I walk up to the car, it beeps to say that it is speaking with my iPhone. From then on, it just works. Sound is clear in both directions. I just leave my Bluetooth on my iPhone 4 on. I know that when I step into my car, then it will automatically be working.

Now for the bad. I have had two such units. The first, ordered to use with an Android phone for playing music in my Tahoe, simply fell apart after several months of use. The plastic case is of sub par quality and I reglued it several times. But the device simply stopped working one day and was never again usable. I also noticed that it imposed a high frequency "hum" over the radio when the charging cord was used. Unplug the charger and the hum stopped. A minor inconvenience.
Fast forward to my second unit, now ordered for an iPhone. This one seems to be holding up better, but the hum is still there. Apparently there is an unfiltered component in the charging circuit that is present in all units. This is a poor design and the results are very annoying.
So, overall, I give it three stars, as it is a great idea that works well, at times. But a little better manufacturing would have gotten it five stars!This device works, however I don't think it has the best clarity. It reminds me of an old transistor radio that you had to move around to get static-less reception. It doesn't work well on bridges or in tunnels. The price is right though and much cheaper than buying a new car stereo.

The charger is well designed, has a matte black finish that has a slight rubber feel to it, not the cheap gloss plastic feel that most car chargers have. It's not bulky either and has a nice blue LED on the side when it has power.
I also like the generic design of the USB charger you can use this for any device, whether it be an android phone that has a micro USB input, an iPhone/iPod/iPad with a 30-pin connector, or the iPhone 5 and new iPods with the lightning connector. Just use your existing USB cable and you are ready to go.I used this charger on two different iPhone 5s and received a "not-supported" message on my phones. Skiva did accept return of the charger for this reason.Many chargers claim a 2A output, but that only holds true for ipads. This charger will actually output 2A for non-ipads/iphones. I use my Galaxy Nexus LTE to stream Pandora while using Google Navigation, and the charger is still able to charge about 7% per half hour. I am so happy with this purchase that I plan to get another one for my wife's car.This is a great car charger. It has two USB ports which makes it easy to charge my iphone 5 and my wife's iphone 4 at the same time. I dont't know what the other reviewer is talking about with interference. I just tested it before I put this up and no such interference exists. It could be due to his specific car. All it all, it works just fine.I purchased this to use with my iPhone 5, and it has worked very well. I purchased an extra USB cord for my iPhone 5 from the Apple store and it fit very well with this USB port. I have been using it for a month and love the my phone charges quickly. I have also not experienced any issues with malfunctions or overheating.
